I think that most of the bosses of Skyrim are far too easy and boring, but I've thought of a few things to make Aldiun much harder and more fun.
1. He raises skeletal dragons from the ground, maybe two, then two more a few minutes after they die.
2. You get the army of Savngarde at your back, and fight armies of draugr alongside them.
3. You get a blessing so that most shout times are reduced by 50%, so you can be shouting Draugr aroung everywhere.
4. Constant shower of fire.
5. In some epic Nord ruins, sort of like the ones you need to go through before Savngarde, except more open.
6. Some traps in the ruins, so you can pull a laver and light ten Draugr on fire.
7. Five Dragon Priests that are restoring Alduin's health, and you need to kill all of them then combine all five masks to kill Alduin.
8. Make Alduin huge, and give him freakishly high health.
9. When you kill Alduin, it always results in an EPIC unique kill-cam, where you jump on him, he flies in to the sky, you stab him in the head (or cast a huge ball of *current magic*), and he falls from the sky and you jump off.
10. When you kill him, he has a unique fiery absorb animation, and you get a ten dragon souls.
I think they could have saved the final battle with this, but unfortunately they left it at a lousy fight with a normal dragon, and three dead people.
This sounds awesome! But what would be even more awesome for 9 would be that if you use a sword of any kind (preferably a greatsword, but a regular sword would work if you had lvl 100 One-handed), you chop Alduin's head off and then get thrown backward off of him, rather than just stabbing him in the head or neck. Like how Alice from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland slayed the Jabberwocky. You also get a large amount of recoil damage from his blood, but never enough to kill you if you have low health.
