I can understand why Alduin was a simple boss fight at the first time you battle him but why cant the developers do something really epic at the end of the game not the same thing all over again :(

Please give me your ideas on how epic it should have been.

Well, I have an OP version of Alduin... Its only like that after level 100+

HP: 7567

Shouts:

- Alduin's Breath - Does 75 Fire Damage and has 5% chance of instantly killing. The time of recharge of this shout is 5 seconds.Â

- Alduin's Tear - Does 150 Frost Damage and drains the target's stamina. He only uses it after his health is below 50%. The time of recharge is 15 seconds.

- Alduin's Rage - Does 200 Fire Damage and makes the Dragonborn take 50% more damage and do 50% less damage for 60 secs. The recharge time is 20. He only uses after his health is below 25%.

- Alduin's Servant - Summons an spectral dragon priest that uses Icy Spear, Frost Cloak and Wall of Frost. He uses it at any time. The recharge time is 30 secs.

- Alduin's Prisoner - Summons a crazed spectral legendary dragon that will attack anyone. He can use it at any time. Recharge time is 50 secs.

- Alduin's Punishment - Banishes any summoned creatures.

- Alduin's Fear - After his health is below 10%, he will use this shout to create a unending, massive fire storm. After he uses it, he will not attack or land unless dragonrend is used on him. He can only use it once so there is NO recharge time.

- Alduin's Spectre - After his health is below 5%, he uses this shout to become ethereal and uses Alduin's Prisoner to distract his foes. The duration of this shout is 15 secs and he only uses it once.

- Alduin's Cure - Cures 300 HP. Recharge time is 15 secs.

EPIC! And it's vanilla too!

Look no further than the "World-Eater Beater" mod from Brhuce Hammar.

a big Dragon with Spines that look like Daedric Swords on his back and Black Fire like the Enderdragon with Huge Talons and a Demonic Voice and Firery Hide that looks epic in my head (Alduin) BETHESDA CANNOT MATCH THE MIND LIKE THIS DRAGONBORN *Roars*

how about alduin crawls out a giant pit of fire and lava and he is red and has giant orange horns and spike that pop out every time you hit him making his armour go up and to were he reaches his max statein wich the fire around him is purpal and green and he is pure white and black and his father akatosh shows up and helps him fight and mirrak shows up to hel and you to altamentally fight and lower both of there heaths and you use a special shout that mirrak givves you and you get to keep eaithir akatosh or alduin and you both fly away into oblivian with the world explodeing behind you BOOM thats how you make an ending bethesda

This thread's still going? Okay....here's mine.

For my version: everything is the same in vanilla except:

1. THERE ARE NO HEROES HELPING YOU. It's just you and Alduin duking it out. (Seriously Bethesda why? It's supposed to be the destiny of the last dragonborn and ONLY the last dragonborn.)

2. Alduin has access to nearly every shout in the game.Alos he has better stats and his AI acts smarter.

3. There's multiple phases which requires you to travel all around Sovngarde, with Alduin taunting you along the way.

Oh and.....

Before the last battle, you'd actually get more cutscenes with Alduin. A few examples could be you trying to save a town from having the same fate as Helgen or witnessing a dragon resurrection....except that the dragon does not want to follow Alduin at all. So then Alduin ends up killing that poor dovah, absorbs his soul, turns to your character and delivers some badass yet dark dialogue.

Or how about a cutscene where Alduin catches your character by surprise, greatly injures them and leaves them for dead, and then Paarthurnax himself comes in and ends up sacrificing his soul to heal your dying dovahkiin, causing a very emotional moment. So then we wouldn't have to deal with the "Kill Paarthurnax or not" conflict with the Blades.

Seriously, we needed more interactions with Alduin.

Prometheus720 wrote: I like the idea but I think your stuff is a little OP. Tone it down a bit and it would be kinda cool. The problem is, the only really powerful enemies in the game are Karstaag and the Ebony Warrior. Miraak is decent, Alduin is easy. So what would you need this stuff for? It's just kinda pointless if all you have left to do is kill bandits.

They already did that in Oblivion's Shivering Isles DLC. You fought a shadow version of youself, with all of your attributes, skill levels, weapons, armour, spells and magic resistance/reflection/absorbing. It earned you the blade Shadowrend.
