In my opinion Daggerfall is more of a rpg while Arena is Action/Adventure with some rpg elements and open world. Arena was built as a Arena game (hints the name) but I love both.

Somebody Help! I downloaded Arena and Daggerfall from the offical TES website but I don't know what dosbox is, could someone please send me instructions on how to work Arena and Daggerfall.

Daggerfall is better you can buy a working boat and lots of houses and flip off Uriel septim and forsake the mane quest

Arena is good. This is really strange but I can hardly get through Daggerfall on my own unlike Arena. I guess it has too many RPG elements for me. Too much RP for me tends to make me quit the game faster. Morrowind is the same. I get Daggerfall(and Arena) in the whole swinging might not hit hte enemy but I feel like once you bring in full 3D graphics then a hit should be a hit. For Arena I reccomend the classes Warrior, Thief, Assassin or a class that can heal and fight(nightblade i guess.) Reason for the warrior is because in RPG's in general Warrior is considered the "easy/noob" class. Thief is too usually. The thief class is really easy to me. You level up faster and you swing faster. You also are less likely to get hit. Assassins are kinda the same except I think they have a larger amount of weapons(or is it armor? both?). I tried a magic playthrough and like most RPGs playing a magic character is chalenging. Especially since mages in Arena are less likely to level up. A tip for the game is to save a LOT. and find an inn during the night. Sleep when you need healing of any amount or any kind. Use cheap tactics. Hard to explain those tactics. And for the final boss I reccomend using your fists. And I just realized that this is from last year. :P

I figured out why I was getting arrested, some weird rep thing, but it goes back up overtime and only applies to one region, so no biggy.

Quite enjoying Daggerfall really, made a new character and no longer dying from disease.
