I have collected and turned in every East Empire Pendant that was listed - why is the quest still in my journal? Is it glitched like my Ice Wraith Teeth and Speak To The Jarl of Falkreath quests are?

No, the pendants respawn, so you can collect them indefinately.
Well, that is very lucrative, but at the same time it staying in my journal is going to bug me. Ah well...thanks!
the pendants do not respawn, i have waited at several of the locations listed for them to respawn but they do not.
The quest simply does not have a quest complete stage, that is why it stays in the journal, if you are playing on PC you can remove the quest by using the console, but there is no way to remove it from the PS3 or Xbox quest journals.
Well in my game they do respawn. Possibly a mod makes them respawn for me, but i dont have any mods which alter them.
The East Empire strongboxes, in which you find the pendants, DO respawn their contents after several days, including a new pendant in each one. Every one of them in fact. Ignore the person above who says they don't. They do.
Wiki says there's a command to remove the quest from your journal, or you can kill Fathis Alor (the quest giver) and it will mark the quest as failed and remove it. But why would you want to when you can keep revisiting the strongbox locations as you continue to explore Solstheim and turn them in for an endless supply of gold? Get rid of the quest and the pendants are still there, except now they're only worth like 30 gold each instead of the 500 that Fathis offers. Makes no sense to have a problem with it.

its weird because in my game they don't respawn

Question then. Are you standing nearby the strongbox and 'waiting', then checking and finding that they aren't respawning? Because I don't think they'll respawn if you do that. Me, I just lockpick one, clean out it's contents, then continue on with whatever quests I'm doing. I regularly leave Solstheim as well, and after being away for several days or an in-game week, when I return to the island and run across one I've already looted, if I've left it alone long enough it always has respawned. I have to pick the lock all over again and there's always a batch of fresh loot and a pendant waiting. Always.
I'm on pc, I don't use many mods. Never have. If you're using mods is there a chance one of them is causing your issue somehow?
