Hello everyone! Here is the weekly update for you! ^_^
I'm afraid there isn't much shocking new information for this week, but we are still making significant progress in terms of content expansion and various other community and functional advances. Let's get to it!
Wikia finally got around to adding a proper guidelines feature to Discussions which allows for an easily accessible link to the rules that we have set up on the Discussions project page. Currently the new guidelines only appear on the web version of Discussions, but they will presumably be added with the next app update. You can look at the rules here.
A Consensus Track thread was recently created regarding the difficulties forum moderators have quelling spammers on Discussions in particular. However, after some discussion we decided that a more suitable approach would involve promoting more staff members and paying closer attention to Discussions in general.
Flightmare recently attended Wikia's 2016 Community Connect in Poznan, Poland, where he met up with a group of other community leaders from all over Wikia as well as several Wikia staff members to discuss community interaction and give useful feedback to Wikia. Shockstorm will be attending a similar event in San Francisco in August.
We also reached 46,000 articles this week. Thank you to everyone who has been tirelessly working to add new pages and content to the wiki!
