Me? Well, I'd very much appreciate if Bethesda makes the sizes of all the major towns in Skyrim lore-accurate. Imagine Whiterun, but this time, each of its districts are just as big as its current size. That would be epic!
^ it is? cause i don't remember going to Cyrodiil. when did we go there?
^I agree. Cyrodiil is so high fantasy, alien and original.
Morrowind, Black Marsh and Valenwood are so generic and dumb. I hope we never go back there.
^ in truth, i actually do hope we never go to valenwood or black marsh. black marsh is largely inaccessible to non-argonians, and the green pact would raise the game's age rating by quite a bit, so they couldn't cover either of these regions without seriously messing up their lore.
^Aww, those are what I want the most because of the high fantasy element );
But isn’t 18+ a high enough age rating? What’s after that 21+? But yeah, they’d absolutely butcher the lore or come up with some reason to streamline it into something casuals will enjoy unfortunately.
^ tbh i didn't know what skyrim's rating actually was. i guess it won't go much higher then. there are other aspects of Valenwood lore that would never be included though, like the Imga
^Which is such a shame, I’m surprised no modders have revamped Skyrim into what the lore and previous games said it was. With the Nordic pantheon and all snowy, I guess they could but Bethesda should have remained faithful to begin with.
Me and my brother were actually discussing this the other day: Bethesda tries so hard to normalize their games to a wide audience, make their games “Lord of the Rings-Esk”, just to relate it to unfamiliar people. Whilst thinking it will work.
But I honestly think if they opened up and weren’t afraid to do what they actually want and not care if casuals like it or not, Make their worlds remain faithful to what was said and go for that original, unearthly, high fantasy feel. They would receive even more props for trying to be original and creative.
At this rate I’m surprised they aren’t going for High Rock because it’s even more generic.
I'd rather not have another TESV remaster...
They already remastered it
They already remasted Skyrim back in 2016
Skyrim re-remaster? Lol
What do you think?
