I've been behind schedule due to Coronavirus finals chaos, so here the last two weeks of updates.
*There was a Hexagauntlet on 6th-9th March. In this type of gauntlet, players could include up to six copies of a chosen card in their deck. Also, deck size was 30 cards for one- or two-attribute decks, and 45 cards for three-attribute decks.
*The Crown Store Showcase for the week of March 7th was quite interesting! Look at the Auri-El and Xarxes statue, Cadwell’s Kitchen Style Pack, The Elder Scrolls Online: Harrowstorm DLC Game Pack and Collector's Bundle.
*The March collection of community guides is out. See it here. It contains fresh builds created post-Harrowstorm, including an awesome Templar healer and new Necromancer options, as well as Icereach and Unhallowed Grave guides.
*Not strictly TES related, but still relevant; E3 2020 was to be held in June this year, but has been cancelled due to concerns over the COVID-19 outbreak. There may be some sort of online showcase for game announcements and news in June as mentioned on the website, so look out there for updates on that.
*This weekend's event in The Elder Scrolls: Legends was the Pauper Gauntlet! In this event, you could not have Rares, Epics or Legendaries in your deck. East Empire Crafter was also blacklisted since it would be powerful in these conditions. You could have up to three maximum runs of the gauntlet, each entry costing 500 Gold or 3 Event Tickets. Each entry granted you a copy of alternate art Mudcrab Anklesnapper that really, really reminds Poisoned apples of Crab Rave for some reason.
*Harrowstorm and Update 25 are now live on all platforms! We already broke down what's included in the DLC game pack and update a couple of weeks ago when it came out on PC/Mac, but if you missed that, have a skim through this blog post.
*Some notable contributors from last week:
*As previously mentioned due to lack of topics, there was no March 2020 moot. If you do have something you’d like to bring up about TES Wiki, feel free to sign up on the moot page. The next moot will be on Saturday, April 4 at 8:00PM UTC in the Discord server in the #moot channel.
*This week now marks the fourth anniversary of discussions weekly updates! Yay!
*Some of this week’s noteworthy additions to wiki articles come from:
The Beautiful Princess Ashley – lore pages
Wikia/Fandom Powered by Wikia/Fandom/FANDOM News
*The Unified Community Platform Editor and our first release date – a staff blog about editors avaliable in UCP.
*One technical update: Release Highlights - March 11, 2020: First release of the Unified Community Platform – this is a new technical update 'series called 'Release Highlights' for some noteworthy releases for the UCP as well as known issues. In this first one, highlights include improved RecentChanges, expiring User Rights, improved Visual Editor, choosing your gender preference and and you can edit your followed pages in Special:Preferences.
*Two additional blog posts:
--The first Unified Community Platform release is now live for NEW wikis – as of March 11, all new wikis are now on the Unified Community Platform. It is technically in open beta at the moment. Existing wikis will remain on the Fandom and Gamepedia platforms for now, until UCP is able to support them.
--Infoboxes on Fandom – this is a new edition in the 'Best Practices' series with the topic being on infoboxes. This goes into good composition and design so both readers and search engines can clearly read the data.
And that does it for now. Happy discussing!
