Hi all, Atvelonis here. It's that time of the
week again, where we bring to you all the
The Elder Scrolls and wiki-related news you could possibly want. Since this update is dated for Saturday, I'll be omitting news that came out after that, at least until the next update. If you would like to opt out of receiving these threads, please install the
AnnouncementsIgnore script for personal use.

- ZeniMax recently published a blog hyping us up for Blackrose Prison, a four-player arena dungeon that will be coming to The Elder Scrolls Online with the Murkmire DLC. Completing this challenge rewards players with a unique weapon each; if you can complete it on Veteran difficulty, you will get a "Perfected" version of the weapon, which comes with a stat bonus.
- The company also released a new entry in the Meet the Character series for Online. This one is about Jaxsik-Orrn (article needed), a "fierce Naga warrior" of the Dead-Water Tribe. For more information, see here.
- Sony added The Elder Scrolls Online to their monthly PlayStation Now subscription the other day, in case anyone who has that would like to play ESO through it.
- Lady Nerevar of The Imperial Library started working a "Who Did What?" page on the Library, which documents the things that many TES developers have worked on over the years. This will be a very useful resource!

- The moot for October took place on Saturday (log). Although brief, we still managed to discuss a few noteworthy topics. The results of the moot are as follows:
- We decided that we would expand upon the "Identifying a stub" section of TES:Stub to include more information about when various types of articles are classified as stubs or not, giving broad directives rather than granular instructions, and referencing explanatory blogs where appropriate. (8-2-0)
- We also decided to add a section on the same project page detailing when to use the various "something is missing from this page" templates, including {{Stub}}, {{Incomplete}}, {{Missing}}, etc. (8-2-0)
- We also decided to reword some conflicting instructions on the Special:Upload form (via the Uploadtext page).
- The "Reforming the Article Status Nomination Process" consensus has entered the voting phase. Please leave a vote in a new comment in order to finalize the decision!
- We have a news team (!) application from Poisoned apples, the first one in a long while. Please leave your opinion on her application here as soon as possible.
- We've gotten a lot of new content this week! Here are a few editors who have been working really hard to improve the encyclopedia in this regard:
- I also want to give a special shout-out to Rozty, who helped rename almost 1000 card images for Legends in anticipation of the new card borders from Sparkypants Studios. Renaming this many images and correcting their formatting on articles is extremely tedious, so great work there!

That's about all I have for this week, folks. I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend, and as always, happy editing! ―
