I like the use of a bow over Destruction spells. But I do find my self sometimes envious when I am not that skilled with the use of Magicka related abilites.

Honestly, I find Destruction gets a very bad rap in Skyrim, especially on higher difficulties and at higher levels. However, I created an Altmer vampire pure mage on Master difficulty at 80th level that absolutely wrecks with Destruction. Once you level your alchemy and create some powerful fortify Destruction potions and get your casting cost down, with the expert level spells dual-cast,you are an absolute beast.
