"On Rain's Hand 23rd in the year 105 of the Second Era, Vanus Galerion founded the Mages Guild, to make magic available to all people of Tamriel. Vanus named himself Arch-Magister and appointed a magister in every guild hall.
Through the years, this foundings day became a holiday, a day of celebration of the exictance of magic, full of beautiful shows with artistic people showing their best drawing(s) of mages, and the annual discussion of what was the best spell ever made and/or who was the greatest mage who had ever lived. Thus, Magister Day was born."
Okay, I just completely made up that story. The real origin of this day only goes back a year (see link below), with credits to @Frozzy Boi
But that doesn't mean we can't celebrate it! So how do you participate?
- Well, you can discuss Vanus Galerion or Shalidor was one of the greatest mage. Or perhaps Mannimarco? Or someone else entirely? Enlighten us about your opinion!
- If you think one particular mage deserves the honor to be drawn by you, whether an old drawing or a brand new, or something else entirely that is directly connected to magic or the use of it, please share it!
So what is the purpose of this all, you ask? To encourage discussion, or to show us your talents. But most of all, to have fun of course!
So happy Magister Day!
