"The Razor is Mehrunes Dagon's personal artifact. It has always heralded bloody change and carnage. It's held many names: Dagger of the Final Wounds, Bane of the Righteous, the Kingslayer. The Mythic Dawn worshipped Dagon as a god."
―Silus Vesuius, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

TES
This weekend's in-game event is the Micro Mirror Gauntlet! Participants' decks may only consist of a minimum of 30 cards (or 45 cards for tri-colour decks), with only up to two copies of each non-unique card. On top of that, the left lane is the Hall of Mirrors. When a creature is summoned there while the lane is empty, it will summon a copy of it in that lane. These rules will certainly lead to some interesting, strategic deckbuilding. This event is currently running, and will do so until Monday, August 16 at 12PM ET. Full details can be found in the official event article.
Check out a snippet of a lorebook discoverable in Red Petal Bastion in the Waking Flame Lorebook Preview, which describes an artifact named Opal Charm.
The Elder Scrolls Online Standard Edition is on sale for up to 35% off, and The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood (all four Blackwood editions) is up to 60% off! These sales are only for PC/Mac, Xbox, and Stadia, and will finish at the end of August. Each platform has slightly different end dates, so if you don’t want to miss out and need to find out how to get your hands on these, see the official Get up to 35% off ESO: Blackwood article. ESO have stated in this tweet that there is definitely a sale coming for PlayStation players with details yet to be announced.
ESO's Lead Graphics Engineer, Alex Tardif, takes us through some of the graphical improvements coming with Update 31 in this Update 31 Preview. Alex goes over dynamic resolution scaling, a new HDR mode, and multithreaded rendering for PC which will be coming to beta for feedback.
QuakeCon 2021 is coming up on Thursday, August 19! Tune in to Bethesda's Twitch Channel for a bunch of ESO livestreams for the duration of the convention. All of them will have Twitch Drops enabled, which include a Flame Atronach Wolf pet and an Ouroboros Crown Crate. As well as that, the Dungeon Speed Run and Live Art streams have special giveaways of a gaming prize package, and a custom Mehrunes Dagon controller! If you are interested in catching these events, be sure to see the ESO Quakecon 2021 livestream schedule.

No new Release Highlights once again, and one staff blog post:
A trio of wiki enhancements for editors and admins – with FandomDesktop now on all Fandom wikis, several post-release changes have been revealed in this blog post. These include Theme Designer being able to natively support full-sized backgrounds again, Announcements on wikis which were originally on Gamepedia, notifications unification (work on this has been moved to next year instead of this year), and EmbedVideo which allows video to be embedded on wiki pages from 24 different popular services.
That's all now for this update. I hope you have a fantastic week with whatever you're up to, and as always, happy editing!
