"Hold, Alduin on the Wing! Sister Hawk, grant us your sacred breath to make this contract heard! Begone, World-Eater! By words with older bones than your own we break your perch on this age and send you out! You are banished! Alduin, we shout you out from all our endings unto the last!"
―Felldir the Old, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

TES
Bit of a quick update on the revision of the core rulebook which you can help out with at the Rules Queries and Questions forum. There will also be living errata (error in printing) document on Google Docs which will be constantly updated so that there will be no need for waiting for a PDF. For further information, see the Fighting Fire with Steel blog post over on Modiphius' website.
The Hexagauntlet is back this weekend! This means all participants' minimum deck sizes are reduced to 30 cards (for mono or dual-attribute), and 45 (for triple-attribute). Also, up to six copies of a card may be included, with the exception of Unique Legendaries. The full collection will be unlocked for all participants of the gauntlet so that you can create the best deck you can with these rules. With each run completed, you will get a premium alternate-art Loyal Housecarl! This event is currently running and will do so until Monday, August 23 at 12PM ET. See the official event article for all details.
The World Plays ESO is now winding down, with the final stream on Sunday, August 22. The final dates and list of streamers may be found in the August 16-22 Schedule.
TheMavShow from Xbox recently hosted a livestream on twitch with ESO Community Managers in which they explored the Blackwood Chapter. If you missed it, you can catch it through the links in the official announcement article.
The ESO Free Play Event is live now until Monday, August 30 at 10AM EDT. In that time, ESO will be free to download and play for all PC/Mac, Xbox (XBox Live Gold required), PlayStation, and Stadia (Stadia Pro required) users. If you have participated in a Free Play Event previously, you will be able to continue from where you last left off. All new ESO accounts will receive 500 Crowns to spend in the in-game Crown Store. To find out how you can get started in this event, see the ESO Quakecon 2021 Free Play Event article.
Don't forget about the Quakecon 2021 Sale happening until the end of August! The Elder Scrolls Online Standard Edition is up to 60% off, and The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood is up to 35% off. Crown Packs are also up to 40% off. Each platform has varying sale start and end dates, so be sure to check the official ESO Quakecon sales article. Note that this now also includes PlayStation.
The release date for Waking Flame and Update 31 on console has changed. Where it was once due for the end of August, the date has been moved to September 8. This is for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5 only. The postponement is to ensure that launch is as stable as possible. See the Release Date Change article for more.
Interested in winning a Mehrunes Dagon-themed guitar? ESO have teamed up with Trivium, an American metal band, in this sweepstakes. You can sign up in the Trivium ESO Team Up Promotion article. Winners will be drawn on October 31. There will also be a Gates of Oblivion End of Year Stream on Bethesda’s Twitch channel on September 30 where Trivium will premier an ESO-inspired music video!
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition was announced earlier this week. It will be released on the 10th anniversary of the original release later this year; November 11. This new edition may be defined as the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition including 74 creations from the Creation Club. However, if you are not interested in “upgrading” your Special Edition to this new one, you will receive access to Fishing, Survival Mode, and Saints and Seducers. For expanded details, see my wiki news blog post which includes links to the relevant articles.
There are also more plans for the 10th anniversary of Skyrim. You can submit your artworks or cosplays to The Skyrim Museum, or tune in to the Skyrim Concert with the London Symphony Orchestra and London Voices Choir on November 11 2PM EST at either Bethesda’s Twitch or YouTube channel. See the Skyrim 10th Anniversary Plans article for more.
Get a closer look at how the dragon language seen in Skyrim was crafted with Emil Pagliarulo, Design Director at Bethesda Game Studios, in this official interview. He goes into how Dune (1984) inspired the weaponization of sound, drawing from Swedish, Danish, German, and Old English for the vocabulary, and interpreting it all into English and hieroglyphs!
