I tested every shout in-game and the closest is unrelenting force, except that shout only Ragdolls people, not tear them apart.

I guess maybe the force of the shout didn't kill him emediantly perhaps. Maybe caused enough of his organs to rupture from like a explosive shockwave killing someone. But the person didn't get ripped apart. Or he got severely injured and died seconds after getting shouted. But either way lets assume he did get shouted to pieces. Guts everywhere.
And frankly I don’t believe Ulfric’s story
I don't know. I'd say I trust someone with knowledge about the Thu'um more than rumors and bystanders who couldn't understand what happened. Even Torygg himself might not know what happened as the last thing he saw was Ulfric shouting at him before waking up in Sovngarde.
That’s the point. We don’t know. But I do not trust Ulfric’s character. And thus I do not believe his story
@Kvile2000 Torygg probably saw some kind of brief wave coming at him as a loud noise shattered his eardrums and threw him around. I am guessing they fought in the attire we see Ulfric and whatever Torygg was wearing at that point but idk. Not sure if a your challenge to a fight you fight in that location that you have been challenged or you organize a fight within 24 hours quickly.
Ulfri met the king under false pretenses. Challenged him knowing he was the superior fighter and still used a Shout. Ulfric is without honor. Uses religion to bring the uninformed and gullible to his side. I don’t trust anything he says about this “fight”
^ So instead of telling us how his strong voice, a mighty display of power, killed Torygg, he lies and tells you he had to dishonerably finish the job with his sword. Why in Oblivion would he do that?
Seriously, I'm really against Ulfric and his Stormcloaks, but because of that I don't think therefore everything he says is lied.
You are allowed to believe or disbelieve anyone you want. I’m not here to convince you either way 🤷♂️
He didn’t, he says himself that he killed him with his sword, he just used the shout to incapacitate him
Torygg died by the Voice, Torygg himself states as much.
What do you think?
