Got into Elder Scrolls recently and boy am I astonished as to how I ignored this series for so long. I never was really that interested in high fantasy stuff like elves etc. But this series has completely taken me by surprise. Especially the lore. My YouTube feed is now filled with elder scrolls lore videos. I have completed Morrisons and Skyrim and would be moving onto Oblivion soon. I think my favourite province would be Elsweyr and Valenwood. There is such a dearth of info about Elsweyr and it leaves so much up to you imagination. I would love a spin off set in Elsweyr and Valenwood that would sort of act like the stage setting to the Second Great War. Maybe along the lines of Civil War in Elsweyr between Anaquina and Pellitine regarding their support to the dominion as well as some the main quest about stopping a heretic Bosmer from starting The Wild Hunt. Maybe we could be the reincarnate as the Mane of Khajit to protect them from the Hunt. I would love to see the deserts of north Elsweyr and dense arid forests of Valenwood. From there we can also have a DLC where we get info about Maomer pirates sacking settlements on the souther coasts of Elsweyr. So we have to travel to Pyandonea to deal with Maomer. The other DLC could take place in Black Marsh where so trouble has arisen in the interior marshes of the Hist and the trees recall all Argonians to prepare for the second war. Just some ideas.

Okay. This is a redo from my last post. I will try to get better evidence.
Forget the red circle in this picture.
So. As I had stated before, High rock/Hammerfell, Skyrim, Cyrodiil, and an island in Morrowind, and all of tamriel are taken from previous games. SO! If you look in the picture above, there is a little hole right below that red circle.
While the Black Marsh isn't mountainous, there is a marshy hole there. But the Marsh clearly isn't a contender.
SO! If we look at the map again, there is a huge mountain range near the eastern and western edges of Morrowind. and the landscape/generation looks very similar. And if you look at both pictures, the farther end of the land has snow. Both of them do, but Morrowind has less and so does the picture.
And the geographical turn in the map is too sharp than it shows in the trailer. So, as far as I know, High Rock and Hammerfell may not be the location. No where else has mountains besides skyrim and the north of Cyrodiil, but we already had those game. SO! As far as I know, Morrowind may be the place. But you clearly need more evidence.
Note that there is NO island next to the land in the trailer picture, but there is a tiny one on the map north-ish of High Rock. And note that the mountains in Morrowind are darker than in Highrock/Hammerfell. And the picture from the trailer has very dark mountains. And the curve, as said earlier, has a similar bend in both the map on Morrowind's side and in the trailer picture.
And if you look at the red circle again, there is a "Castle" or as I see it, a ruin. What I mean is that there is no city/major location on the map that the red circle marks. But that goes for Both Morrowind and High Rock/Hammerfell.
So, If I am getting this right, TES6 is more likely to take place in the whole Province of Morrowind, than in a Dual Provincial location being Hammerfell and High Rock.
Tell me if I am wrong...
Based on the Map, Where do you think The Elder Scrolls 6 game is being placed in? I also have proof that it won't take place in Hammerfell or High Rock.
"Almost all the Elder Scrolls series games are set in different areas in the world of Tamriel, the series's 'universe'. Back in 1996, Daggerfall snatched the High Rock and Hammerfell provinces. In 2002, Morrowind earmarked the island of Vvardenfell.
Oblivion was set in Cyrodiil and, no prizes for this one, Skyrim was set in Skyrim.
These names may all sound like Tolkien rejects, but they're actually places that featured in the very first Elder Scrolls game, Arena. That 1994 game let you wander around the whole of Tamriel, making it one of the largest games ever made.
And yes, that means a lot of its areas were pretty boring and repetitive. A reminder: it was released in 1994, just a year after the original Doom.
So what's left in Tamriel? Consult the The Elder Scrolls: Arena map and you'll see that Valenwood, Elsweyr and Black Marsh (aka Argonia) are the spots Bethesda hasn't mined yet.
Morrowind would be another obvious choice, as The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind didn't actually feature any of that province's mainland area, just an island.
For any real Elder Scrolls nuts ready to leave an angry comment, yes we know Battlespire and Regard exist, but they are not part of the main series of games.
Rumours online seem to think Argonia/Black Marsh is the most likely choice for Elder Scrolls 6, although we've found no reliable source for this yet. Maybe people just think it 'sounds right', eh?
Argonia is where Tamriel's lizard folk live. They're called Argonians. You've been able to play as these scaly, underwater-breathing creatures in previous Elder Scrolls games.
There's also a rumour that Elder Scrolls 6 will be called Elder Scrolls 6: Valenwood, which would make sense as it's one of the areas in Tamriel that Bethesda hasn't touched yet.
The theory is based on a purported Bethesda memo from back in 2014 that prohibited its employees from "using or referencing" a number of terms, including Fallout: Nuka World (which ended up being a major DLC release for Fallout 4, thus giving the leak a little more substantiation), Elder Scrolls VI or something called Project Greenheart.
Now Project Greenheart is supposed to be the codename for Elder Scrolls 6 because as keen Elder Scrolls fans will know, Greenheart is an existing city that's located in Valenwood."

Give me crap if you must. But I will be the one to say this, and quote me if you must:
By proper evidence, all games have had these places: High rock/Hammerfell, Skyrim, Cyrodiil, and island in Morrowind, and all of tamriel. So, By Process of elimination, we have: Summerset isles, Elsweyr, Black Marsh, Valenwood, and the rest of Morrowind. And from looking at little pieces of the hints to TES6, I am going to predict that TES6 is going to take place in either BLACK MARSH or MORROWIND. I also have proof that it may take place more in The Black Marsh:
They look almost the same. Also if you look closer at the trailer, there are very dark green forests. and a lot of swamp fog. I end my theory. Thank you, and Goodnight Tamriel!
With today’s gaming technology and financial backing from Microsoft, TES VI seems pretty promising. Unless the story only needs to take place in one province (like Morrowind and Skyrim), there’s no reason why the game couldn’t be set in multiple.
For example, assuming the game is actually takes place during the second Great War, Bethesda could set it in the West Coast of Tamriel; Hammerfell, Valenwood, and Summerset, all of which are areas heavily affected by the Aldmeri Dominion (which rules out High Rock).

Story: The Second Great War has begun. The Dominion has conquered Imperial City and murdered Emperor Titus Mede III. 1 Cyrodiil: Cyrodiil has lots of influence, the highest economy from trading, and the biggest military.
2 Summerset Isles: They have the most diverse military from warriors to mages, they have influence after taking over lots of Tamriel, and lots of resources from taking over.
3 Black Marsh: They are mysterious and we don't know much about them but there military took over lots of Morrowind and they also took over Mehrunes Dagons oblivion portals in Black Marsh.
4 Hammerfell: They have one of the coolest militaries because of duel-wielding which is fast and high damaging.
5 Skyrim: Skyrim has a really powerful military and is wealthy but they are vulnerable because of the civil war.
6 High Rock: We don't know a lot about them but they probably have a powerful military because they have the most powerful mages.
7 Elsweyr: They also got taken over by the Aldemeri Dominion which probably means they have a weak military.
8 Morrowind: They used to be powerful but the red year and eruption of red mountain pretty much destroyed Morrowind.
9 Valenwood: They are at the bottom because they rely on the Aldemeri dominion and got taken over very easily.
While I doubt we will be visiting the home the Bosmer in 6, I suspect eventually we will get a game set in Valenwood. And one major challenge of a game set in Valenwood is how to prevent yourself from getting lost as there are no roads. The Bosmer use safe paths instead, but their not well known to non-Bosmer. So, say Valenwood eventually gets a game, how would you duplicate the use roads of the other games without actually putting in roads?
Why would the Bosmer want to join the 3rd Aldmeri Dominion? The thalmor are ALTMER supremacist and look down on the other elven races. At least the khajiit joined because of the void nights thing but what did the wood elves gain from joining?

"aw, well Sit were ya like and my Ma will get your rooms ready." We sat at a table close to were a few imperial soldiers sat, I headed up to the counter, and spoke to the Orc. "You've got a kind boy, but I noticed he Isn't fully orcish, my mer brethren." "aw, your very observant, well he ain't, his pa is a strong Nord sellsword, him over there." she glanced at a big Nord, with a large axe on his back. "But this ain't no life for a Orc boy, he needs to live of the land, fight, hunt, but I got this inn from my ma, who got it from her ma, who got it from her ma and Aunt, and I ain't leaving here. Do any of y’all think they’ll make an elder scrolls in valenwood?They made TES games everywhere except for there.
Well, if you’re like me, your heart was a flutter with the 36 second teaser handed over by Bethesda last night during their E3 showcase, giving us our first look and confirmation of an Elder Scrolls 6 game that’s in production. But where in Tamriel is it? Many theory’s suggest Hammerfell, High Rock and more but again, come on, we’re just naming the remaining provinces guys! I took a look and the biggest clue given to us in the teaser was a huge ravine near the coastline. Upon inspection of a map of Tamriel I’ve found just such a land marker and it’s located in.......Valenwood. The ruins beyond the ravine could be Woodhearth and the coastal city beyond could be Greenheart. Leading up to Skyrim in the 4E Valenwood was invaded by the Aldemeri Dominion who allied with the Bosmer. This could set up the story line or perhaps maybe later after they overthrew Woodhearth (hence the ruins) leading up to the disappearance and reappearance of 2 moons (void nights). Either way there are lots of ways to go in this time in Tamriels history and could set up a lot of DLC including the dominion isles. Just saying it seems feasible and the land looks like it matches.

Hey y'all where do you think the next ES will be? I would love it if it was in Valenwood. Especially if the Empire did beat the Stormcloaks, that way they wouldn't have to worry about their north boarder. And fear that the Aldmeri Dominion plan to finally take over the continent make an assault from Valenwood. Plus they could make some beautiful landscapes with dense forests and stuff. What do you think of this?
If TES: VI is set in Valenwood, like everyone thinks, I think it would be interesting if, when on the southern borders of Valenwood, there could be random encounters with Maormer pirates, or there could be a few quests to do with Maormer pirates, where you could get Maormer armour or weaponry, maybe even Serpent fangs, and Serpent magic spell tomes and Serpent based enchantments, like a poison enchantment, so you don't need to make so many poisons, but you have to get a bunch of Serpent-esque ingredients, and then you mix them all and it becomes a damage-less dagger, with the enchantment! Sorry, I just love the idea of more Maormer based missions and collectibles, after all, Pyandonea is just south-southwest of Valenwood.
So these ideas are just small ideas I had for ES6. Most of these are for a Valenwood situation.

-No working with the Empire. Leave what happened with Skyrim's civil war a stand-still. Focus on Elven governments.

-Expand factions. No 6 quests, end up new leader shit
-Institute actual factions for deities (Y'ffre, Auriel, Hircine etc.)
-Realistic Prisons and Legal punishments. Expand on prison experience

I just randomly thought about this, but what if TES 6 was set up like this...
In Skyrim, the Stormcloaks won the war. A mass exodus of Nords from all of the countries of tamriel go to skyrim, leaving some countries weaker.
With this new strength, the stormcloaks decide to invade Valennwood, in hope of making skyrim better, ya know, "for the Nords"
You can travel between both countries. The population in Skyrim cities have dramatically increased, and Winter hold is restored to its former glory.
If you chose any non-human races (orc, wood elf, dark elf, high elf, argonian) you start out in Valenwood. If you chose any "human" races (red guard, nord, Breton, etc.) You start out in Skyrim.
Main Storyline: Skyrim and Valenwood are in a huge war. The objective is to either end the war by defeating the wood elfs or defeating the nords. Which ever country you start out in does not matter, you just get influenced by the locals.
The dark brotherhood has gotten much bigger, and they're quests are more in-depth and better. Same thing with the Thieves Guild. Fighters Guild has quests you can do. A new era began, its 200 years after TES 5.
Leveling System: A mix between Oblivions system and Skyrims, where there is Intelligence and Strength and stuff, but there is no major/minor skills. There is still forging.
A new faction has popped up, called the Daedric Scholars. Through them you can go to every plane of Oblivion with a daedric prince. This is a DLC
Another DLC idea: the spell crafter is back, along with a brand new function: Armour Combining. Basically, you combine 2 weapons of the same class (war hammer+war hammer, sword+sword, etc.) It costs and extreme amt. of money, 20k each, because when you combine them it doubles the damage. Does not work with different types of weapons (steel+elven, daedric+glass, etc.) They can't be enchanted.
The dragons were eradicated, but now there is a new boss in Valenwood: Mutad elf. A mad bosmer scientist started combining all of the mers in hope of creating some "recreation" of the dwemer, but it went wrong and now this new creature has the strength and endurance of the orc, the magical intelligence of the high and dark elves, and the stealth of the wood elf. The scientist made 2, and they were able to reproduce and now there are "camps" which you must go and clear down. Like giant camps, just much harder and only in Valenwood.
You can also oh in between these 2 countries freely, Skyrim and Valenwood
The country of Cyrodill was dissolved, and each country got more land from it. Skyrim and Valenwood now share a border. Cyrodill was dissolved because the daedra came back and completely destroyed the country, and almost all of Tamriel (hence the new Daedric Scholars DLC idea). Luckily they survived. The reconstruction of Tamriel started the new era.

These are my predictions for the Elder Scrolls VI...
First and foremost, i think it will be very big, like the best of all elder scrolls in the same game. Youll probably get, without having classes, the return of some ancient skills, weapons (spears, throwing weapons, athletics, acrobatics, etc.) and attributes. The hud and gamepay will be alike the elder scrolls online, without multiplayer. Around 10 years after the events of Skyrim, I think you will be a prisoner without background in Valenwood, and during an Imperial attack on the city, youll have to get out. Then the main quest will be turning around an akaviri invasion on pyandonea. Youll be the hero who reunites the empire against the Ka Po Tun invasion. The game will take place in Alinor, Valenwood and Pyandonea, which will had the maomers as a playable race, during the main quest youll settle the fight between the empire and the aldmeri dominion in order to drive out the akaviri and destroy Tosh Raka. The final battle will surely take place in akavir itself. All this will probably make available boats for sale and a chance to maneuver them. Maybe they will also had banks, like in daggerfall. You will probably get the Imperial City as a playing ground also. Werewolves and vampires will surely be possible playing also. For the other quest lines...

Warriors: Something new
Assasins: the dark brotherhood
An arena
A war between alinor and pyandonea
Daedra artefacts quests, worship of jyggalag, and maybe aedra also
Marriage, adoption and housebuilding will surely be included also
I dont know about DLCs tho... Theyll have to create something that fits in the game, but i just dont know, maybe some stuff i mentioned will be available only with expansions...
