^Maybe I'm just a newb, but armor rating is the only thing that makes one armor type "better" than another. Save for enchantments.
I believe they also boost your enchantment power toward their respective skills.
As for the tips, I have none. I would only comment that at some point your mage becomes truly powerful if done well. You will eventually find no need to continue increasing stamina upon leveling up. Next, magicka will not need increasing. Then, your health just goes higher and higher. And with the right use of spells, you're very formidable and nearly unkillable.
You can't just look at its armor rating on the screen?
Forget all of that....
Use a wooden plate.
Bring at least 2 or 3. You need one to get in, and one to get out.
Your children may also bring home some wild animal. A rabbit, a fox; still waiting for them to bring home something cool, like a sabercat.
Edit: This edit is for anyone that didn't realize that was a joke. They won't bring home a sabercat...
A wooden sword would be pretty natural. :b
It also sounds like your character may need therapy.
Falmer may be blind, but if they can fight, shoot you with a bow and arrow, build huts, craft their own weapons, and so on, they can look after their offspring. :b
I forget where I was, but once I found very small falmer. It was about a third the size of the other regular ones. I took a picture of it. hahah I think it was just a game bug.
^Had that one. Also seem to regularly (that is, every playthrough) see a mammoth floating high in the sky. I believe it is loading there as I come close to the area. Sometimes high enough that it dies after falling.
^oooh, Good one.
Sorry, man. Not trying to cause trouble.
Just trying to have a discussion with you.
I'll leave it alone.
How many eggs does an Argonian lay in a single nesting?
How long does it take for them to hatch?
What's the survival rate post hatching?
Are there alpha-males whereby many of the offspring in a tribe would descend from?
It really depends on which skill you're leveling up...
The wiki provides information on how to level each skill..
If you tell us which skills you will focus on, then we can probably tell you where to go.
^Then it should be advised to all: If you don't know all the quotes, then there is absolutely no point in posting any of them. You will only help someone else "win". And if in the event someone does post 1 or 2 out of 3, then you should not tell them, and everyone else, which ones were right or wrong. You're just giving away the answers to everyone. And, since they did not give all 3 quotes, their answer is invalid anyway.
Would you not agree?
The part where your follower was ordered to retrieve the items; that happens every time. For some reason, any item that your follower obtains will be marked as "stolen" as soon as it's in your inventory. From the ground, from any chest, harvested food and ingredients; all of it. It's dumb. Not a big deal if you have the Fence perk, but if not, your stuck with them. Fortunately, there is no crime recorded in your stat menu, unless you drop them again and "steal" them from where they lie. I believe you can store them somewhere and take them again from where they were stored. Just no dropping.
Could you please explain that again?
I have no idea what your post is about...
Bahaha Just kidding... :b
I would only add that some people that use this wiki do not have English as their first language; articulation could be a bit tough for them, so we should try to give them our grace. But otherwise, I would completely agree with you. Everyone else has no excuses.
^He didn't guess all three. He answered only one. Fact.
I'm not sore about "losing" or anything, but I think my observation is valid.
If your open to a suggestion, perhaps only one quote. Or, make many more quotes, and whomever can provide the MOST answers should win.
I have a question:
In the last contest you had, the "winner" only named one quote. Just one. It was the remaining one, yes. But how does that make someone a winner? What about the people who name the other quotes before they did? The last "winner" really only proved that they knew one of them... Not all.
^Don't bother. Post on anything you want. It doesn't matter how old it is. Enjoy the forum.
Number 1 is Pactur, but only after Idgrod Ravencrone is no longer Jarl.
Number 2 is Sinmer, as indicated.
Number 3; darnit, I know the face and the place but the name escapes me.. :b
It's better than starting a brand new post about it...
I have only been on the wiki for a short time. It's ridiculous how many times I've seen the same post topic... "what's your favourite...." - and the same question was asked a week ago... "Any build ideas?" Geeze, just look at the other 50 posts about it from yesterday. Plenty of ideas and inspiration from commenters there. But my absolute favourite repetitive post has to be the ones that ask "where/how.... blah, blah, blah". This is a very good wiki. Use it.
Phew, sorry guys... Had to get that off my chest... XD
