I think they're pretty cool. Honestly they remind me a lot how lion prides work. The leaders have many wives and children and then their children merge with other groups for the sake of survival. And their leaders can always be challenged by their offspring, much like lions do.

Since Mercer's family is never mentioned, it could be possible that one or the other was adopted into a family with the Frey family name, if there's little to no possibility that they're blood relatives. That's just my theory though.

For the reasons everyone has said, most definitely Akatosh. Before I really knew anything about the lore of the divines, he kind of stood out to me the most. And by the end of Oblivion I had a reason lol

I've had this happen, basically in the same area. There was the frost troll in his normal spot, 2 more frost trolls just around the corner before you get there, along with a frost dragon, snow cat, and snow bear. And of course of all the enemies that wanted to attack me were the 3 frost trolls lol

I'm pretty sure that's Shear Point that you're referring to. Generally, it's a dragon lair. I believe before "Dragon Rising", you'll only encounter a skeleton. After the quest though, you'll encounter a dragon and a dragon priest. A heads up just so you're prepared for a battle if you're still at a fairly low level.

It is pretty fun shouting them off the bridge. I mean now that I think of it though, I remember running into this problem even fast traveling and going to Valtheim... So who knows with Skyrim. Apparently you're just not allowed to have fun lol

The Rift because Fall is my favorite season and it always looks like Fall and it's really pretty.

Are you primarily walking everywhere instead of fast traveling? That has a big impact I've found out. The places you pass by more often won't spawn enemies as quickly as places you pass by every now and then. Like while doing stuff in Whiterun, I passed Valtheim quite a bit going to Iverstead. But I would only go near Helgan every now and then to go to Riften. Between the 2, Helgan's enemies spawned a lot quicker than Valtheim. At least that's my theory because when I just fast traveled everywhere enemies were usually always present.

Top 3: Nord, Kahjiit, High Elf

Bottom 3: Dark Elf, Redguard, Breton.

Honestly, in any TES game, I've yet to play a Breton. I want to wait until I solely have a magic build, but it hasn't happened yet in the past 4 years I've been playing the games.

Imperial Knowledge and Lady of Scrolls I think are mostly reliable. They also link their sources and if they aren't sure where a fact came from or where they heard something or unable to link it, they usually mention it in their videos. And if they are primarily speculating or being opinionated on something they also say. I think they're good if you want to give them a try.

There's a store called DKOldies out of Pennsylvania if you want a hard copy of the games. I've ordered Morrowind from them online with no problems at all. The have a lot of retro games, so they might have one of them.

^I do the same thing if I'm not role-playing. But since I am I kind of respect the Gods, so if I don't also take the meat and utilize it, I won't kill the animal unless I'm attacked first.

Just to note. While I know there are shouts and spells to deter animals from attacking, I can't just go to the places and aquire the words since I haven't had a reason to. And I'm not using illusion for my character so I can't. My character "accidentally" got the Voice of the Sky power after reading the tablets on the way to High Hrothgar.

^If you have 3 meals a day and all consist of meat, you would need to hunt 3 times with Skyrim logic because you only get one item from every animal(without mods). Thus you need to hunt 3 times? And Kynareth didn't put the creatures on nirn without putting some guidelines on what she accepts and doesn't. She wants you to utilize the food and materials, not just to trophy hunt. It isn't at all arrogance when there is proof in lore that can back my statement up, I just shortened it to food to specify my purposes. If you kill an animal, you do so for food and resources right? Not just to kill and leave it there. At least sane humans do that. So how is my statement arrogant when I'm talking about a game that has lore centered around it?

^I know, it's a game issue rather than lore. I just wish I didn't have to choose between being able to hunt or being able to not get attacked.

So this post has been a few weeks ago and after finally deciding to play the game and taking in account character ideas, I've decided how to play.

Name: Ra'ja Fierce-Claw

Race: Khajiit(male)

Description: Fairly red with the head shape like a tiger.

Hobbies: Reading, hunting, and drinking.

Major Skills: Heavy Armor, Light Armor, Smithing.

Minor skills: Bow, One-handed, Alteration, (maybe Sneak).

Attire: In cities usually a hooded monk robe(or other robes) and boots, and while traveling he wears studded armor and some sort of heavy gauntlets and boots.

Weapons: Mostly unarmed. For hunting, a bow. And as backup, a dagger.

Magic: Armor spells, telekinesis.

Factions: Imperials, Bards College, CoW.

I'd join anyways. I did once and it was enough to decide that it was only for the sake of the type of character I played. My opinion, even if you think you won't enjoy playing a certain way, still try it before giving a full judgement.

There is not, that area is just solely so you could get a glimpse of the past. And there isn't any lore backing to Konahrik, other than his name means Warlord in the dragon tongue. So I'm guessing he was pretty powerful. Other than that, getting his mask is basically just a reward for collecting the other 8(plus the wooden mask).

I just realized you were talking about the wooden one. Nope, no lore at all related to it that is known.

Once you place them all you'll get another dragon priest mask that can only be accessed by doing that. I cant remember the name off hand though.
