Mage archetypes is a super small yet immersive mod that adds a bunch of new spells. I really recommend it.

Try teldryn sero, he's a spellsword mercenary who can be found in the retching netch on solstheim. He's got a cool backstory, has good dialogue and is amazing in combat.
Gameplay wise the black star is by far superior, lore wise azura would probably do some petty ass shit to punish you for defaming her artifact.
So it depends on whether you wanna rp or not.
The exploit with the whiterun gate doesn't work 100% of the time as far as I know
If you want to be a warlock I recommend the mage archetypes mod. If you don't want to mod get into conjuration or get the cool looking armor of the old gods that you fam frt by completing the foresworn conspiracy quest in markath
They all kinda suck, but thieves guild and db were the least bad imo
If you wanna continue using destruction with a one handed weapon you REALLY gotta get into enchanting. Destruction is a ridiculously expensive school, and especially with a one handed weapon you won't be doing too much damage. Enchant the shit out of your gear and become a pure destruction mage.
Alternatively if you really enjoy archer builds get into illusion or conjuration. They're both great and especially conjured weapons are great with the ordinator mod.
They're probably legit and they'll probably set your pc on fire if you actually use them in-game and not just for taking pretty pictures lmao
If you're new to the game I REALLY recommend playing on adept and doing a sneak archer with some illusion build. Alternatively if you like magic I'd do a conjuration build, since it makes things relatively easy. You can also combine conjutation with being a sneak archer.
I'm looking for a mod that gives miraak a custom face since I quite like him as a modded follower and such- but unfortunately I wasn't really able to find any. Anyone got any suggestions?
(Also mods that don't have HD quality would be appreciated, because my pc is basically a brick)

Ffs sake I just want some cooler lore than what skyrim was. The game was pretty good, but I'd love to see some interesting stuff like in morrowind again.
If magic is involved, elves can get VERY old. Divayth Fyr, a telvanni mage was about 4000 years old at the time of morrowind. Same with Neloth. He's already pretty old during morrowind and tou can still meet him in skyrim.
