First of all I think TES VI should adopt ESO graphics, I really liked the ESO graphics, they looked more realistic than Skyrim and it’s preceding games graphics, they where clean and clear, the best graphics I’ve seen in a TES game so far.
Since before the TES VI teaser trailer in 2018, since.... well since 2017 I suppose when people started to discuss TES VI a lot more I've wanted the game to be set in Hammerfell and no where else, I got excited when the teaser trailer came out because I’ve seen a lot of Youtubers go over some valid and convincing evidence that the landscape shown in the teaser trailer is Hammerfell, so I’m praying to the 9 divines that TES VI will be in Hammerfell.
Now I don’t want a massive time gap between TES VI and Skyrim like there was between Oblivion & Skyrim. I think an appropriate time gap between the games would be 10 - 20 years.
Equipping Gear System
Another thing TES VI should adopt from ESO is the Equipping Gear System (or at least half of it) In Oblivion & Skyrim and probably the other preceding games you just have all of your weapons in one section, all of your armour in one section, potions in one section, and you get the point. In ESO it’s kinda the same, except your weapons and armour or split into several slots, so you have a slot for helm, boots, gauntlets, 2 ring slots and so on. How I would like the equipping gear system to work is, picture it like this: just like you do in Skyrim, you click a button and it comes up with a 4 sided star kinda thing with Map, Skills, Magic & Equipment, well in TES VI you click that same button, but instead of a star like thing, it just comes up with a column dividing everything up into: Map, Skills, Combat, Equipment. It’s quite obvious what Map & Skills are, under Combat all of your weapons, Magic & powers are in this section, you can favourite your weapons, magic and powers and then press a button to bring up what you’ve favourited like you do in Skyrim. Under the Equipment section is your armour, divided into slots for Helmet, Armour, Boots, Gauntlets, Epaulets, Necklace, Ring 1 & Ring 2.
Repair Armour & Weapons
I think they should bring back this system where you have to repair worn weapon and armour, when a piece of armour has been worn out it looses its armour rating, the only pieces of equipment that don’t need repairing is staffs, jewellery & clothes, when weapons are worn they are unusable until repaired. One hammer will repair a piece of armour, a repair kit will repair all your weapons and armour. Weapons and armour can also be repaired by Blacksmiths, depending on the damage or armour rating of the weapon or armour will determine the price of repair by a Blacksmith.
More Magic Variants
I would like to see more variants of destruction magic in TES VI, they should keep the fire, frost and lightning spells, but also add Earth, Air, Water & Poison spells to the game. I think it would also be cool to have spells such as levitation, flying (like the one from Morrowind) take no fall damage, speed & unlock spells, I’m the illusion skill perhaps. Maybe more types of Conjuration spells, if they add more elemental destruction magic then this could open the opportunity to add conjure Earth, Water, Air & Poison atronach, maybe conjure ghostly lions & vultures.
A new school of magic I thought up to replace Alteration & Destruction, instead magic from both school are put into the Tribulation school of magic. Alteration spells such as Mage & Candlelight are out into the Conjuration school of magic, Waterbreathing, Waterwalking & flesh spells like iron/ stoneflesh are put into restoration school of magic.
I think it would be cool to bring back spell creation. How I’d like it to work is, you go on to the spell creation table, there’s a column with a sections for each school of magic: Tribulation, Illusion, Conjuration & Restoration. When you click on a section it will come up with all the spells in that school of magic, you can mix up 2 spells of that school together, for example you could mix the two Tribulation spells Paralyse snd Firebolt to create a new spell that deals fire damage and paralyses the target when hit by the spell. To create a spell you need too mix two spells then use a Soul gem to create it, the type of soul gem determines the damage of the spell and your skill perks also determine the damage of course, rather than adding the spell to your character immediately upon creation, a spell tome for the created spell is added to your inventory instead. In snitching there is a level 100 perk that allows you to mix 3 spells together, if you have this perk mixing a third spell is optional.
Unlike the Staff enchanter in Dragonborn, you can just create a staff at a special forge called the staff forge, the staff forge is Luke the enchanting table in Skyrim, it has 3 steps: first you just need materials (materials depend on the material you want to build the staff out off, materials will determine what the staff looks like, no material will differ from any other material in terms of damage or enchantment endurance). Once you forge the staff, you are then required to use a filled Soul gem on it, you can use petty, lesser, greater, grand or Black Soul Gem, the type of gem you use determines how long the staff is usable for before it needs recharging, for example using a petty soul gem would means it has little charge, but a blank soul gem would give it lots of charge, lastly select the spell you want to infuse the staff with, you can only infuse staffs with spells that you have learned.
Followers learning magic
By giving a follower a spell tome they can learn that spell if they have already.
I think there should be 40 normal/ non essential followers, (4 followers for each race, 2 male and 2 female for each race). 6 special essential follower (2 DLC followers, an essential follower from the Warriors/ Mages/ Assassins & Thieves Guild). 4 unique Animal followers, (Shadowmere, a jackal, a lion, a duneripper) that brings it up to a total of 50 followers.
More Voice actors
I think there should be more Voice actors in TES VI, I’ll admit there was a big improvement in terms of how Skyrim suffered from Oblivion in terms of voice acting, I think there was only 13 voice actors in Oblivion, but in Skyrim still a lot of NPC’s sound the same, in TES VI fair enough have some NPC sound the same but I think they should have less people sounding the same than they did in Skyrim, I’d like there to be more unique villainous characters with awesome voices like Miraak, his voice acting was legendary, Hircine, Azura & Molag Bal also had good voices in Skyrim. In Skyrim Meridia’s voice sounded a bit to evil, Mephala & Varemina didn’t sound evil enough, Sanguine & Boethia had a normal NPC voice, Hermsous’ voice was annoying but good voice acting for his character. But the point is, more good voice actors.
Ayleid & Dwemer Ruins
I’m really hoping to see some new Ayleid Ruins in Hammerfell, there’s only 4 known Ayleid ruins right now in Hammerfell so I’m hoping Bethesda could add sone more in because I found them interesting in Oblivion, i think it would also be cool to be able to consume wey on stones like you could in Oblivion go regenerate your magicka. Dwemer ruins aren’t very appealing to me in Skyrim, I thought they where a bit boring, so I’m hoping that they could improve it in someday, like add some new types of Dwarvern machinery.
I think they should add back birthsigns. I didn’t mind the idea of Standing Stones in Skyrim since I played Skyrim before I did Oblivion but when I was introduced to the Birthsigns system I liked that more. I think In TES VI they should have similar abilities to what they where in Oblivion or to what there standing stone equivalent was in Skyrim.
TES VI should reintroduce classes that you can choose to be at the start of the game, but shorten down the options. I think this should be the available classes, their primary skills are shown below.
Increasing primary skills gives you double XP, Primary skill start at level 20, the rest of the skills start at level 0.
It was a bit hard to work out all the correct skills for each class so tell me if you think a skill is wrong and what it should be replaced with.
Hearthfire features in the base game
I think it would be a great feature to be able to build houses and adopt children in TES VI without need of DLC. I think it would be cool to build your own manor in the middle of the desert, or perhaps in the Dragontail mountains, or maybe by the coast. I also think you should be able to adopt up to 4 children instead of 2. I think there should be an orphanage as well, and it works the same way as it did with Skyrim, you kill a child’s parents and they end up at the orphanage. In Hammerfell I think there should be a orphanage in Sentinel because it’s the biggest city and the capital.
Mer & Beast Children
I think there should be Mer & Beast races that are children. I think there should be up to 40 children across Hammerfell, 4 for each race, 2 Male & 2 female. 5 of them are already at an orphanage, 8 of them are street orphans, 1 in each city of Hammerfell: Hegathe, Gilane, Taneth, Rihad, Skaven, Dragonstar, Elinhir & Abah’s Landing. There isn’t a street orphan in Sentinel though because I’d like an orphanage to be in Sentinel.
I want The Blades to make a return, i want the Blades to be the Warriors Guild in TES VI. Say that it was set about 15 years after Skyrim, that gives The Blades enough time to grow a bit and gather her more members, so maybe some Blades from Sky Haven Temple go to build new temples and spread the organisation across Tamriel (except for the dominion provinces because that’s where it would be most dangerous). With the threat of the dragons gone, The Blades can begin work as mercenaries and basically be what the companions where but without Lycanthropy. The perfect place for The Blades to be in Hammerfell would be The Valley of Blades, it was the base of the Dragonguard which is what the Blades formerly where, the Guild was named after the place, it’s a very hidden place deep within the mountains, surely safe from the Thalmor, because Hammerfell isn’t with the Empire anymore so the Thalmor have no business in Hammerfell but surely there’s still a Thalmor spies hanging around, but the Valley of Blades is a good place to be safe from Thalmor spies since it’s hidden, to keep its location and the Guild a secret the Blades could sent contacts out into cities and report problems that need dealing with. I think this would be a better option than having the Fighters Guild return because the Fighters Guild is chartered by the Empire or Emperor but Hammerfell isn’t part of the Empire anymore so it wouldn’t make sense.
Blackcaster Mages Guild
The Blackcaster Mages Guild is a faction that appears in ESO in the city of Mages, more commonly know as Elinhir. Since the Mages Guild is gone and the Synod & College is Whispers are apparently more focused on politics more than actually teaching magic I think the Blackcaster Mages Guild would be a better candidate for being the new Mages Guild in TES VI since the Synod & CoW, sounds lame asf. There isn’t any information on the Blackcaster Mages Guild other then where it’s based and who the members where during ESO, so I think it would be good if Bethesda created some more lore on this Guild. The Guild could have started to build a reputation in Hammerfell after the Oblivion crisis when the Mages Guild was dispatched, but was rivalled by the Synod preventing them from spreading their organisation any further than Elinihir, but after the Great War, Hammerfell left the Empire and with the Synod being chartered by the Empire they had no power in Hammerfell anymore allowing the Blackcasters to begin building Guild Halls in other cities.
I’d like to see another Arena, one similar to the Arena in Oblivion. In ESO there was an arena in Dragonstar so I think that will do for a good location if there was to be an Arena Questline.
I think it’s time for a change of scenery, In the Thieves Guild DLC in ESO the Guild was based in Abah’s Lansing, so how about we see a new hideout in a new city, I think it would make sense for them to have a base in Taneth, Taneth is the second closest city to Abah’s Landing just after Gilane, Taneth is a prominent and one of the most influential cities in Hammerfell, it kinda sounds like the Hammerfell version of Solitude, so I think they should be based there.
Given that the game is set a couple decades after Skyrim the Dark Brotherhood has had enough time to spread into at least High Rock & Hammerfell. So I’m thinking the Dark Brotherhood should be based in the city of Hegathe, one of the earliest mentions of the Dark Brotherhood related to this city. I think it would be good if we got to see Aventus Aretino again, but as an adult, and member of the Dark Brotherhood, he did say when he grows up he wanted to be an assassin. If I was planning TES VI I would have Aventus as the leader of the Dark Brotherhood, he murders a guard in Windhelm when they try to get him out of the house to return him to the Riften orphanage at age 14, Aventus runs away, fleeing towards Hammerfell, reports of him murdering travellers along the way for supplies and money, he makes it to Hammerfell finally, he rents a room at an inn at Dragonstar, he sleeps and then during his sleep he is approached by a speaker of the Black Hand who inducts him into the Dark Brotherhood, the speaker sees much talent in the young Aventus and believes he could be resourceful in bringing back Dark Brotherhood influence in Hammerfell, the Speaker takes Aventus to an abandoned Ra Gada Temple on the outskirts of Hegathe, the entrance had recently been fitted with a Black door and it was to be a new Dark Brotherhood sanctuary, the Speaker told Aventus that he would lead the sanctuary for now, and if he could furnish the sanctuary, induct new members into the brotherhood and compensate them for their contracts for a whole year then he would have proven he was fit to be a leader of the Dark Brothehood and granted permanent leadership over the sanctuary. A year later he had done everything he was asked and inducted 3 highly trained and deadly assassins into the brotherhood and compensate them for their contracts and successfully managed the Guild for a whole year, Aventus became leader of the Hegathe Sanctuary. That would be my backstory for Aventus if I was planning TES VI.
Better Daedric Artifacts
I felt like the Daedric Artifacts in Skyrim where really lame, like Masque of Clavicus Vile made Haggling 20% better I think? Mace of Molag Bal just captures a soul and does stamina damage when you could literally just put those enchantment on a weapon yourself, the Ring of Hircine was meant to give you infinite transformations as a werewolf but turns out it’s just a useless as an unenchanted ring, Ebony Blade absorbs health, super lame. They need to add or change Daedric artefacts and equip them with unique enchantments that can’t be gotten on any other weapon/ armour, I’ve already thought of some ideas. Ring of Nocturnal (my own idea): Grants the wearer invisibility while sneaking, interacting with a person or object cancels invisibility, come out of sneak mode then sneak again to reactivate invisibility. Ring of Hircine: Claws do double damage in Beast Mode. Sanguine’s Eternal Phial (my own idea) a phial infused with special Daedric magic that prevents whatever brew inside the phial from ever running out until replaced by another brew, so you could put Skooma in there and have infinite Skooma, you can only have one potion in the phial at a time, poisons can not be placed inside the phial.
Joinable Daedric Cults for each Daedra
I’d like for there to be some more joinable Daedric cults with a quest or a few quests involving the Daedric artefact of the Daedra it’s aquatinted with, it would be interesting to see a Sheogorath cult.
Lore on events that occur between TES V & TES VI
If there happens to be a couple of decades between the two games i would like to know what happens, what’s event happen between the the games, some mentions of book about them, so perhaps some mentions on the fate of the LDB, the outcome of the civil war, some mentions on the nightingales. That kinda stuff.
Since every game since Morrowind has had a DLC with a plot involving a Daedric Prince, Morrowind had Hircine’s Bloodmoom, Oblivion had Sheogorath’s Shivering Isles & Skyrim had Hermaous Mora’s Dragonborn. So I think the next one should be Malacath’s Orsinium, the current Orsinium (4th) is built in the Dragontail Mountains on the border of Skyrim/ Hammerfell, Orsinium is the kingdom of Orcs who worship Malacath so it makes sense, we have a DLC with a plot involving Malacath and we get to go to Orsinium and there’s some other parts of the Dragontail mountains we can explore, and hopefully we get to see what the Ashpits (Malacath’s plane) looks like. I’d also like an Orcish like playerhome that you could buy in Orsinium.
Abecean Sea DLC
I was thinking of having just Stros M’kai as a DLC but the island seems to small to be a DLC, so maybe a DLC where you can travel all over the Abecean Sea visiting Stros M’kai and the several other islands dotted around the Abecean Sea, maybe we could have some kinda pirate/ smuggler Guild we can join in this DLC, or a plot involving the Sload. And I think it would be cool to have a big fancy boat like the Katriah as a player home, it would be appropriate if it was pirate themed.
A purchasable player Home in all Hammerfell Cities:
Fast Travel from Interior
I’d like to be able to fast travel from interior in TES VI, they should limit it a bit so for example, some locations like deep within certain crypts and caves you shouldn’t be able to fast travel from the interior like say you where at that puzzle thing you have to complete to free Serana from her stone coffin, you should have to complete the rest of the cave and not be able to fast travel from the interior, but I think in places like Jarl’s palaces, village houses, small caves you should be able to fast travel from the interior.
I would like these Weapons to be in TES VI:
New form of Lycanthropy
I’d like a quest maybe allowing us to choose what kind of werebeast we become, we could choose between werewolf, werelion, maybe they could invent a new form of lycanthropy like werejackal, the werejackal would be much bigger than a normal jackal.
Different Variants of Mounts
Instead of just horses, I think we should have different kinds of mounts like we did in ESO, it souls be cool to have a lion mount or a giant duneripper Mount, or a camel.
Capes, Epaulets & Wearable Elderscrolls
I think it would be cool feature to add Capes & Epaulets, capes for aesthetic, epaulets for a bit of extra armour rating, in Skyrim some armour had epaulets but they where counted as part of the cheat piece, in ESO the chest piece and epaulets where separate so think they should be too in ESO. I also think it would be cool to have a wearable Elderscrolls like how Serana wears an Elderscrolls on her back when you first meet her.
Consumption & purchase of illegal products
I think that you should get a bounty if you consume illegal products such as Skooma while in sight of a citizen or guard, and if you are caught buying the products you should get a bounty. I also think there should be more drugs appear in TES VI, it would be interesting and don’t worry I’m not a druggy It’s just interesting to learn about anything TES related, in Skyrim the only illegal products where Skooma & Moonsugar I believe, so there should be more different types of drugs appear in TES VI.
I spent about 4 hours typing all this, spent a large amount of time thinking. But I think that’s everything at the top of my head right now that I would want in TES VI, theres probably other things I want but I can’t think of them right now, I’ll probs add thing on along the way.
