背景情報

Hero of Kvatchが皇帝とその護衛たちと共に牢獄から逃れると、敵であるMythic Dawnの攻撃を受ける。皇帝はAmulet of KingsをHeroに託し、Weynon PrioryのJauffreに届けるように命じた後、殺害される。

攻略の手引き

下水道を出た後、Chorrolの南東にあるWeynon Prioryに、ファストトラベルするか歩いて向かう。一番大きな建物に入り、BladesのGrandmasterであるJauffreを見つける。彼に話しかけ、Amulet of Kingsを返す。また、彼に皇帝の最後の言葉を告げる。彼はOblivionのDaedric Princeである、Mehrunes Dagonについての背景知識を教えてくれるだろう。Jauffreは亡き皇帝の私生児である、Martinの存在を明らかにする。Martinは司祭であるが、Jauffreのところへ連れてこなければならない。これは次のクエスト、"Find the Heir"へとつながる。

Weynon Prioryにいる間に、周りにあるアイテムを調べてみよう。これらは興味深いものであろう。

• Jauffreに援助を求めると、彼はSteel WeaponとArmorの詰め合わせが入った、自分の再供給の（Re-Supply）宝箱 Chestの鍵を開けてくれる。これは、プレイヤーのレベルによって変化しない、ゲーム中のわずかな宝箱の一つである。その中身は、レベルに関係なく常に同じである。

  

  Weynon Priory。

• Brother Pinerに話しかけると、彼はHeroにThe Warp in the Westという本をくれる。この本はBlock のスキルを１ポイント増加させる。
• また、Eronorからrepair hammerをもらえる。
• Prior Maborelからは、無料のPaint Horseを使えるようにしてもらえる。

Kvatchへは、ファストトラベルよりもPaint Horseに乗って行くのが良いだろう。というのも、道中で後に役に立つロケーションを見つけ、地図にマークすることができるからだ。時間がかかり危険であるが、徒歩で行けばAlchemyの材料を集めることができる。

更新: Baurusと話した後: 皇帝の護衛の一人であるBaurusは、Jauffreが、皇帝を護ることを誓った騎士団の団長であったことを告げた。（Baurus, one of the Emperor's bodyguards, told me that Jauffre was the head of the Blades, an order of knights sworn to protect the Emperors.）
更新: Jauffreの居場所を教えられた後: 私はAmulet of Kingsを、Chorrolの町のそばにあるWeynon Prioryにいる、Jauffreに渡さなければならない。（I should take the Amulet of Kings to Jauffre, at Weynon Priory near the city of Chorrol.）
