A Dark Exile is a quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
Walkthrough[]
First[]
If the Hero of Kvatch first breaks one of the Five Tenets in the Dark Brotherhood, they will be kicked out. After that, the Hero is given a quest saying that once they sleep, the Wrath of Sithis will appear and will have to be defeated. If the invoked Wrath of Sithis is killed, the Hero is reinstated into the guild.
Second[]
If the Hero of Kvatch breaks the tenets again, another Wrath of Sithis will appear and the Hero will have to do the same thing again.
Third[]
If the Hero breaks the Tenets a third time, they will be permanently removed from the Dark Brotherhood. When they sleep, however, the Wrath of Sithis will still appear; once it is killed, the Hero will still be removed from the Dark Brotherhood.
