Abernanit is a cave which is located southeast of Gnaar Mok, in the Bitter Coast region. It is occupied by a small gang of smugglers that have taken Dandsa as a hostage.

Background

An Abernanit is mentioned in lore texts as the setting of the Siege of Abernanit in the year 3E 150 as described in the historical poem Death Blow of Abernanit. This location may also be the location of the Siege, however the poem describes a castle and tower of which no ruins remain, and this Abernanit is a small cave.

Dandsa, an Imperial citizen, has been taken and held by smugglers, and is now their hostage. Radd Hard-Heart of the Imperial Legion tasks the Nerevarine with rescuing her from Abernanit, the smugglers' hideout.
