Mane Akkhuz-ri is a Khajiit and current Mane, the spiritual leader of his people. He is often accompanied by his Speaker and loyal friend, Lord Gharesh-ri.

The Vestige meets him during the quest "Retaking the Pass" where he is trapped in an Old Merchant's Cave at Driladan Pass in Greenshade. Later in Malabal Tor, he's on his way to the Silvenar's Wedding, until he becomes possessed by Dark Spirits and flees to Reaper's March. Now as the Dark Mane, he terrorizes Reaper's March using the Dro-m'Athra, until he was ultimately sealed away in Moonmont by of one of his Lunar Champions and the Moon Hallowed.
