Usefulness[]

  • This spell is especially useful when fighting multiple enemies at once when they are all at melee range, casting the spell on one gives the ability to concentrate on another with less trouble, due to blinded enemies having a lower hit rate. It is especially useful on enemies with slow attacks, e.g. humanoid characters with warhammers, as they have fewer opportunities to land a successful attack.
  • It is also useful for thieves, for example, casting it on a non-hostile character causes them to have a lower chance to detect someone sneaking, meaning a thief may have an easier time stealing something which is in clear view.
