Alteration Training is a quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Abhuki at the Faregyl Inn or Athragar at the Chorrol Mages Guild offer this quest, with an Alteration skill of 70 or more.
For this quest the Hero must breathe underwater for six minutes (three hours game time). Since Argonians can breathe underwater, they get this training for free. Spells or potions of Water Breathing or permanent Water Breathing items such as Fin Gleam helm or the ring from the quest "Go Fish" can help with this quest.
