An Island to the North is the first quest in the main questline of The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon.

Rumors[edit | edit source]

In Vvardenfell, while conversing with people, the Nerevarine must inquire about "rumors." The topic of "Solstheim" will then appear. Questioning further will indicate that in Khuul, a little village on the north-western shore of Vvardenfell, there is a boat journeying to the northern island.

Khuul[edit | edit source]

Once in Khuul, the Hero must find S'virr, on the docks. The latter will propose to travel to Solstheim for a small fee.

Solstheim[edit | edit source]

After arriving in Solstheim, the Nerevarine may speak to people on the docks, a group of workers are waiting there. They explain that the Hero should find Captain Falx Carius in Fort Frostmoth, in his Chambers.

10 I have heard rumors of an island to the north of Vvardenfell named Solstheim. There is apparently an Imperial fort named Fort Frostmoth.

50 I have been told there is now a boat in Khuul that offers transport to the island of Solstheim.
100 I have arrived on the island of Solstheim. Captain Falx Carius is the commander at Fort Frostmoth, and I should speak with him. Captain Carius is likely in his chambers at Fort Frostmoth, which can be reached through the General Quarters, at the top of the south staircase. For matters dealing with the new colony, I should speak with Carnius Magius at the Imperial Cult Shrine.
