- Not to be confused with Ancient Nord Armor (Armor Piece).
- "Ugh, that armor stinks of death. Have you been grave robbing?"
- ―Hold Guard[src]
Ancient Nord Armor is a heavy armor set in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
A variant of the iron armor set, the Ancient Nord Armor has similar base attributes, albeit slightly lighter, and benefits from the Daedric Smithing perk. The set does not include a shield.
Relatively rare, it cannot be collected from draugr, or crafted under normal circumstances.
Locations[]
- Full sets may be found on dragon cultists in Forelhost during "Siege on the Dragon Cult."
- The ghost encountered at Kjenstag Ruins between 4:00 AM-8:00 PM may have a full set.
- All pieces, aside from the helmet, may be purchased from Aela the Huntress if married, but only after trading her stronger armor.
- Ancient Nord Boots, Chest and Gauntlets may be loot from Ascendant Necromancers if the Dragonborn's level is above eighty-one.
- Several Ancient Nord Boots and Helmets may be found in Forsaken Crypt.
- An Ancient Nord Helmet may be found in Ysgramor's Tomb.

- Bashnag dons a chest piece in Southfringe Sanctum.
- Two helmets may be found in Labyrinthian's Tribune level.

Smithing[]
The set may only be forged at the Skyforge once the Companions' main questline has been completed and Eorlund Gray-Mane has been spoken to about the forge.
The armor is displayed in the Daedric section of the crafting menu. Its requirement, the Daedric Smithing perk, doubles the improvement level on it. All pieces may be upgraded with an Iron Ingot at a workbench.
