The Ancient Nord Bow is an Archery weapon, belonging to the Ancient Nord Weapons set.

Locations

This weapon is lootable from Draugr and, other than the Supple Ancient Nord Bow, is the only type of bow they use.

Usefulness

This bow can be great during the early stages of the game, primarily the first few steps of the main storyline, as it is more powerful than the standard Long Bow (base 6 damage) and Hunting Bow (base 7 damage). However, as it boasts only eight points of damage, players should seek to replace this bow with a more powerful one such as the Imperial Bow, Orcish Bow, or Elven Bow as early as possible if they expect to rely heavily on archery skills in battle.
