- For other uses, see Armor.
Armor indicates any type of apparel item worn about the body of the Eternal Champion to protect it from harm.
Armor pieces
The body is protected by various pieces of armor one can find at an equipment store. They can be classified in the following manner:
Armor Piece | Protects |
---|---|
Helm | Head |
Right Pauldron | Right shoulder and upper arm |
Left Pauldron | Left shoulder and upper arm |
Cuirass | Chest and back |
Gauntlets | Hands |
Greaves | Waist and upper legs |
Boots | Lower legs and feet |
Equipment effects
The Agility (AGI) rating can change one's Armor Rating (AR), as can certain types of equipment. Below is a list of the equipment and its effects on the AR. Because of the sheer volume of magical items available, this list can only be a guideline when buying armor or other items.
Equipment type
For the Armor Rating, a negative number is considered good, while a positive is disadvantageous. The lower the rating, the better protected the player is.
- Leather armor pieces reduce 3 points of AR
- Chain armor pieces reduce 6 points of AR
- Plate armor pieces reduce 9 points of AR
