Ash Ghoul Soul is a quest in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind given by Skink-in-Tree's-Shade in Sadrith Mora if the Nerevarine has sufficient rank in the Mages Guild.

Skink is in need of an Ash ghoul soul for his research.
Objectives[]
- Go to the Mage's Guild in Wolverine Hall and seek out Skink-in-Tree's-Shade for a job.
- Go in search for an Ash ghoul (Yakin is recommended).
- Capture the soul of an Ash ghoul.
- Return to Skink-in-Tree's-Shade.
Walkthrough[]
Upon asking Skink-In-Tree's-Shade for a mages guild quest, he will request the player to capture the soul of an Ash Ghoul for him to study. He will give you some Grand Soul Gems and a scroll for soultrapping them.
Skink suggests the player look for the ghouls in Yakin, though they may also be found in any other sixth house base, or in the Red Mountain Region within the ghostfence. Upon encountering an Ash Ghoul, trap its soul and kill it.
Return to Skink and present the filled Soul Gem to him to finish the quest.
