Main article: House Hlaalu Quests

Ashlander Ebony is a House Hlaalu quest open to the Nerevarine if they join House Hlaalu during the events of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

Objectives[edit | edit source]

Walkthrough[edit | edit source]

Having removed the threat to Yngling Half-Troll's rats, the Nerevarine is given the task of completing some negotiations on behalf of Edryno Arethi. Arethi explains that House Hlaalu is in negotiations with the Ashlanders based at the Zainab Camp about trading ebony on an exclusive basis, hence the Nerevarine is tasked with concluding those negotiations.

Negotiations[edit | edit source]

The Zainab Camp can be found on the edge of the plains of the Grazelands region, southwest of the House Telvanni town of Tel Vos. The Ashlanders will direct the Nerevarine to the Gulakhan (de facto leader) of the camp, Ashibaal. Ashibaal will, however, require some convincing in order to complete the negotiation. This can be achieved by either telling him that Zainab "are strong enough to sell ebony," or by suggesting to him that if Hlaalu and Zainab both sell ebony, its value will drop.

Once Ashibaal has agreed to sell Zainab's ebony exclusively to Hlaalu, the Nerevarine may return to Arethi to obtain her thanks and a reward of 1,000 Gold.
