Asurn Ice-Breaker was a candidate for the role of High King in the 5th century of the First Era.

Personality and traits[]

Asurn was a powerful and respected warrior, almost rivaling Olaf One-Eye. While he was greatly skilled in combat, his temper led to his demise when the Crown of Verity infamously refused him as High King.[1]

Crown of Verity[]

As a result of his rejection by the Crown, he threatened to kill the other members of the Moot if they did not grant him the title. It was at this time that Kjoric the White bested him in a duel, earning himself the title and the Crown. As a result of this confrontation, the Crown's power remained undisputed until the fall of the Reman Empire in 2E 431[1]
