Attributes govern a character's proficiency in various skills. The base attributes are:
- For a quick reference table to the attribute differences of the races, see Attributes according to race and sex.
- The attribute system was removed in Skyrim.
Level up attribute modifiers
Increasing any combination of skills governed by the same attribute will allow a bonus modifier for this attribute equal to the number of relevant skill increases during the next level up, maximized at a +5 modifier. Unlike in Morrowind, whether the skills are major or minor has no effect on level up modifiers.
