Aurmazl Kaneh was a Golden Saint in the service of the Daedric PrinceSheogorath. She was one of the more prominent Aureal commanders during the time of the final Greymarch.
Sheogorath tasks the Hero with relighting the Great Torch, which has gone out since the Greymarch began. They must go to Cylarne to get the Flame of Agnon in order to relight the torch.
What happened next is unclear, but the Hero allied with either the Aureals or the Mazken ("Dark Seducers") in the last battle over Cylarne. Kaneh either died fighting the Mazken, or sacrificed herself to light the Altar of Despair after the Hero helped her and the Saints take it from the Seducers. Her soul was sent to the Waters of Oblivion, and did not return to the Isles for many years.
"This is no place for a mortal. We are about to join battle against the Mazken. You'd best stand aside."

If the Mazken have prepared an ambush along that route, we would be slaughtered. We're better off storming the main passage, where our superior strength and bladework can come into play."
