Backlash is a Templar active skill in the Dawn's Wrath skill line in The Elder Scrolls Online.
Description[]
Target enemy stores up damage taken for 6 seconds. When effect ends they receive an additional 20% of damage inflicted.

- Update 4: Fixed an issue where you could stack multiple copies of Purifying Light or Power of the Light (both Backlash morphs) at the same time.[1]
- Update 6: Backlash and Purifying Light morph damage caps are now derived from your maximum magicka.[2]
- Update 7: The healing pool for this ability now attaches to the target instead of sticking to the ground, and will now leave a healing effect if the target is killed before Purifying Light expires.[3]
- Update 9: Increased the maximum damage limit for this ability and its morphs by 25%, but decreased their damage stored amount by 66%. In addition, this ability and its morphs can no longer be reflected.[4]
