The Battle of Sungard was a decisive battle during the War against the Alessian Empire. The Battle took place on the fortress settlement of Sungard, located along the Druadach Mountains of the Reach. The Nordic Warriors led by Kjoric the White fought against the Alessian Crusaders led by Emperor Gorieus. The Battle, along with several other conflicts such as the Battle of Glenumbra Moors were what resulted in the Fall of the Alessian Empire and the rise of the Reman Empire. The Battle had ended with the Alessians gaining victory and the death of Kjoric the White. Kjoric's son, Hoag Merkiller would become the new High King of Skyrim.[1]
