Bethesda Game Studios, often abbreviated as Bethesda, is the developer of various video games, including several titles in The Elder Scrolls.

Bethesda Game Studios used to share their name with Bethesda Softworks until the release of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind in 2002.[source?] Bethesda Game Studios is led by Todd Howard.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind[]

The third installment of The Elder Scrolls franchise takes place in Vvardenfell, in the province of Morrowind. The player takes the role of the Nerevarine, a prophesied hero that is tasked with defeating Dagoth Ur.[1]

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion[]

The fourth game of The Elder Scrolls series takes place in Cyrodiil, capital province of the Third Empire. In Oblivion, the Hero of Kvatch must help put an end to Mehrunes Dagon's invasion of Tamriel.[2]

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim[]

The fifth installment of the franchise takes place in Skyrim, home to the Nords. The protagonist is the Last Dragonborn, responsible for stopping the terror of the dragon Alduin.[3]
