Black Book: The Winds of Change is a book in The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn and is a part of the collection of Black Books.
Summary[]
Reading it opens communication with Daedric Prince Hermaeus Mora, allowing travel to and from Apocrypha, a Plane of Oblivion. When read on Solstheim, it will teleport the Dragonborn to the realm of Apocrypha, where they may have three different insights: Scholar's Insight, Companion's Insight or Lover's Insight.

- Scholar's Insight: Reading skill books levels up the skill an extra level.
- Companion's Insight: The Dragonborn's attacks, shouts, and destruction spells do no damage to followers.

- PC 360 PS3 When Quick Reflexes perk has glitched, it is possible that when opening the door then exiting the black book, the Dragonborn will be locked out forever, thus not allowing for completion of the book's quest.
- 360 (Fix) glitch through the wall using a Wooden Bowl and Whirlwind Sprint.

- PC 360 PS3 Upon exiting the Apocrypha realm from any of the Black Books after recieving damage from the acid/ink pools around the environment, if you return to Solstheim or Skyrim, you are unable to fast-travel to any location as the game falsely recognizes you as still receiving damage from the acid pools in Apocrypha.
- PC (Fix) Return to Apocrypha through any of the Black Books, then take damage from an acid pool. Return to Solstheim, and the effect may have cleared itself, and you will be able to fast-travel again. This may take multiple tries to the game to correctly recognize the acid effect to not be active on your character.
