Black Book: The Winds of Change is a side quest in The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn in which the Dragonborn must find the hidden knowledge within the Black Book The Winds of Change in the realm of Apocrypha.

Walkthrough[]
Upon reading the Black Book and being transported into Apocrypha, the Dragonborn should follow the path before them. There are books and containers of loot available as well as several seekers and a lurker that must be fought. The path to the Black Book is linear and only needs to be followed until a tunnel is reached. At the end of the tunnel is the Black Book and a reward may be chosen. After choosing the reward, select the Black Book again to return to Solstheim.
Rewards[]
Reading the book at the end of the tunnels grants any one of the following abilities:
- Scholar's Insight – Reading Skill Books gives you an extra Skill Point.
- Companion's Insight – Your attacks, shouts, and destruction spells do no damage to your followers.
- Lover's Insight – Do 10% more damage and get 10% better prices from people of the opposite sex.
