When activated, Blade Cloak reduces area of effect damage taken by the caster by 20% for 15 seconds. Whenever the caster takes area of effect damage, this ability will deal damage to all nearby enemies. Blade Cloak can only fire once every 2 seconds.

Blade Cloak, formerly named Sparks, is an active skill in the Dual Wield skill line in The Elder Scrolls Online. It is unlocked at Dual Wield Rank 20.

Effects

• Blinded target for 4 seconds. (Sparks)
• When activated, Blade Cloak reduces area of effect damage taken by the caster by 20% for 15 seconds. Whenever the caster takes area of effect damage, this ability will deal damage to all nearby enemies. Blade Cloak can only fire once every 2 seconds.

Morphs

Morphs
	Quick Cloak – For a brief period after activation you gain Major Expedition, increasing your Movement Speed. "increasing your movement speed by 30% for 4 seconds"		Deadly Cloak – Increases the damage.

Updates

• Update 6: This ability has been removed, and replaced with a new ability: Blade Cloak.
• Update 6: When activated, Blade Cloak reduces area of effect damage taken by the caster by 20% for 15 seconds. Whenever the caster takes area of effect damage, this ability will deal damage to all nearby enemies. Blade Cloak can only fire once every 2 seconds.
• Update 7: Fixed an issue where this ability wasn't dealing enough damage when it increased in rank.
• Update 8: As of Update 8, Spiked Armor now returns damage from melee area effect attacks (such as Puncturing Strikes or Blade Cloak).
