The Blades Sword is a One-Handed Akaviri weapon found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

A Blades Sword can be acquired rather early in the game in Delphine's secret room at the Sleeping Giant Inn in Riverwood, on the weapon rack to the right just as you walk in the room near the Arcane Enchanter.
You can find six of them in the armory at Sky Haven Temple, alongside the chest containing Blades Armor.
A sword can be stolen from Fultheim in the Nightgate Inn.
Delphine carries two.
Esbern carries one.
Followers inducted into the Blades carry them.

It is considered a steel weapon, and therefore can be upgraded with Steel Ingot when using a Grindstone.

Bolar's Oathblade - a unique Blades Sword found alongside Bolar's Writ at the foot of the Shrine of Talos at Bloated Man's Grotto.
Dragonbane - a unique Blades Sword found in the armory at Sky Haven Temple.
Ebony Blade - a unique Katana style sword with a vampiric ability.

The Blades Sword is similar to the Akaviri Katana in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
Like most Akaviri weapons, it has a strong Japanese influence.

The Blades Sword may not place properly into a display case after being upgraded at a grindstone.
At rare instances, the Blades Sword can disappear, and sometimes it will reappear at random moments.
The Blades sword (In my case) when placed on a weapon stand the sword will fall on the ground when you leave and re-enter the house.
