Hi
As we know, some of the articles on the wiki are quite long. This is understandable since there may be quite a lot of information to be found about the character or lore. However, in some cases, it can make editing harder if there is a lot of text that isn't very well formatted. Special:LongPages indicates there's quite a lot of articles that are fairly long.
For example, I tried editing the quotes for M'aiq the Liar, but I found it hard because there's a lot of text and it made it hard to see exactly what I was editing. We could solve this using subpages that are then transcluded into the article.
See here for an example of how this could be done. In this particular edit, I cut down the article size from 28000 bytes to around 8000 bytes, despite the text still being displayed.
What is your thoughts? Is this a suitable method of making it easier to edit long articles? Or is the current system more simplistic for editors?
