Quote:i am pretty sure that the crusader is sheogorath.
but if you take a closer look at the story you will see some facts:
A- in oblivion the crusader isn't mad. but in Skyrim, he is totally nuts
Aa- that could be explained by the curse of nocturnal
B- many artifacts would be lost forever
Ba- I think Bethesda would want that because they would not want some dude pillaging the tomb of the holy crusader and grabbing the fabled artifacts
Bb- but again if he really is sheogorath the artifacts are with him (and I don't think a daedric prince would give up his artifacts to no one)
C- the gray cowl of nocturnal was not seen in Skyrim...
Ca- the curse of nocturnal kept everyone from realizing he was in fact the crusader and they only know him as sheogorath because no spell is capable of nerfing a daedric prince.
LAWYERED
And so is Nerevarine. The Nerevarine actually had the Ring of Khajiti, Mace of Molag Bal, and Azura's Star. Many of these Daedric Artifacts would be gone. The Hero of Kvatch has also obtained these artifacts. Azura Star and the Mace of Molag Bal was still in Skyrim. There are many artifacts in Skyrim that is in Oblivion. It will be impossible for these artifacts in Skyrim to exist without the Hero of Kvatch leaving these.
Yes, the hero in Oblivion isn't mad or crazy but it'll take a while.
And 200 years had past, the hero of Kvatch may transformed to be Sheogorath.
But the Skeleton Key is still in Skyrim?
