dude, bethesda uses MK's work to build the TES world, he may not work for them but his writings have more weight than the ramblings of other people. think about like if michael kirkbridge was an historian, he may be wrong (a.k.a what he writes may not be or become canon) but as far as we know he has the best answer to date. maybe the next TES will dismiss MK's work, maybe it will set it as canon (like the heimskr thing).
