If you were a Daedric Prince, what would you be the Prince of and what would be your realm?
If you were a Daedric Prince, what would you be the Prince of and what would be your realm?
I would be the Daedric of Origin Darkness. The "male" in a sense version to Nocturnal's role. By Origin darkness I mean the unknown but necessary aspects and magic associated with darkness. Such as hatred, strife, impatience, and protection of the hidden emotions of passion and love. Considered one of the "good" Daedra and is always seen as a god not as a Demon.
This is because he represents the necessity of Darkness to Anu's Light and the Aedra. The divine or holy darkness that is beyond physical or even spiritual aspects but still affects them both. This Daedric Prince uses this to balance Light. For as Light and Darkness measure each other to give meaning to each other. As if only one would exist it would be bad. This would be why he would be considered one of the strongest of the Princes.
Name Unknown as only that falls under his influence of the unknown. However his title which doubles as his name is the Nameless Lord.
The realm is a pit black realm with a floating Golden City and crystal clean water system in the city. The city emits its own light as there is no Sun, Stars, or Moon. This is the Nameless Lord's symbolic role as even in the infinite darkness there is something good within it. It's name is the Spiritus Dark. This realm is only accessible by the dead followers of the Nameless Lord. Even the other Princes normally can't enter. The dead followers live in bliss in the Golden City, if they obeyed the Nameless Lord. If they didn't they would be made into a guard to protect the city for the duration of their current Era.
The Nameless Lord looks like an Imperial Mage except wearing solid black robes of a Master Mage. His artifact is the Tome of Infinity. A seemly innocent book that grants the owner an unique magic power. Ranging from Invisibility, Telekinesis, Influence over other's decisions and countless others. Once read the Tome vanishes.
This would be myself as a Daedric Prince of Oblivion.
My efforts have been for naught, if you can't battle them, join them so here is my realm same as before but time for elaboration:
I would be the Daedric Prince of Nothingness and the end, The Daedric Prince of No more. I would be the "Omega" if you will.
To interact with mortals I would take the form of a black robe filled only by darkness, shadows cast by nothing.
My Sphere or realm would be a bleak and barren wasteland. Any plants or vegetation seeming to have lived there are dead and withered, black leafless tress and rotting vegetation. The yellow bones of aged corpses and skulls dot the landscape. In the center of this realm there is a large citadel and in the middle a tall tower. this citadel and tower increases in all three dimensions ever so slightly whenever one of my worshippers die. Their souls are slowly and painfully absorbed into the fabric of this citadel, with eternal suffering.
My artifact would be a long spear, it's properties is the ability to trap an unlimited amount of souls. and whenever it starts to run out of charges it would use a few of the souls stored inside it to recharge itself. The souls used are not sent to the soul cairn but are instead forced into the aforementioned citadel.
My name would be Nihiliron, the Daedric Prince of No More.
I would be the Daedric Prince of History. My sphere would be the study of all events that has happened in Nirn. Unlike Jyggalag, I do not use my knowledge to predict future events. I would take form of an Draugr with the height of 2 meters, wearing a set of ancient nord armor and a golden crown.
My realm (`The Pages) would be a large island with its environment similar to Cyrodiil- a large forest with rivers running through them. When a new era dawns, a new river would come to exist in my realm. If one is gifted enough, them can observe the water running through these rivers and see events that occurred during the era that river represents. The capital city of The Pages is separated into five regions- the first (The Quarters of Men) would have architecture representing that of men from the past (e.g Ancient Nords); the second (The Quarters of Mer) would have buildings used by various elf races from the past; the last region (The Quatrers of Beast) would have architecture used by various beast races throughout history; The last two quarters belong to that of Atmora and Akavir. The Palace would be the greatest building in the city, with its architecture being a mix of all the different styles in the city. If a new soul enters my capital, they would only be allowed to stay in their own Quater according to race.
The most powerful artifact I own is the Scroll of Happenings. This is a scroll that is constantly being updated with every event happening in Nirn. Even the smallest and most insignificant event will be recorded. Only mortals with the greatest understanding of the past (most likely studied Elder Scrolls) can read the Scroll of Happenings and not have their minds destroyed due to the near infinite amount of information surging into their mind as they read. Those who survive will be given a place beside me and become one of the most powerful being in my realm. For those that don't survive, I just give their souls to Sheogorath (they're none of my business now). This artifact is rarely give to mortals, and only four (out of them one survived) has read the scroll.
The second artifact (and one commonly given to mortals who do errands and mundane tasks for me) is the United Blade- a greatsword once used by Tiber Septim himself. The sword will occasionly unleash a force wave similar to a Fus Ro Da (although it cannot knock enemies that far, it more or less makes them stumble and fall down) when used in a power attack.
I spent a lot of time writing this, and I hope you enjoyed it!
I would be Patina, the Daedric Prince of Rust and Scrap. My sphere would be that of Asymmetry and Rebirth. It is by my hand that shields and armor break from poor care and swords break if they aren't maintained properly. However, it is also by my hand that materials and tools that are carefully and meticulously maintained last for a long time before they finally break. I am not an inherently "evil" Daedric Prince, just indifferent to the plights of anyone other than my devoted, whom I may bless with steadier hands and sharpened eyesight for crafting and tempering. If I were to manifest on Nirn, my form might vary slightly, but I would look like a humanoid made from pieces of scrap metal of various compositions and in various levels of rust.
My realm would be the Scrapyards, which are mostly inhabited by the Souls of the various creatures who's Souls were used to power various Dwarven constructs, up to and including the Souls used to enchant Dwarven armor and weapons. The Scrapyards appear to be made of rusted metals and pieces of scrap. My faithful would end up here as well, changed to become more mechanical and capable of thriving here. I have two main types of lesser Daedra in my command, The Rustlings and Scraplings. Rustlings manifest as humanoid beings created from the ash-like rust shavings of my realm. Scraplings are larger humanoid entities made of various pieces of scrap.
My artifact, for my Champion, is the Rusting Ring, a ring of pure Ebony that has a very rare chance (1%) of imbuing my Champion's next attack with the power to induce rust in the blood of his or her foes. The Rusting Ring will imbue any form of attack with this power, from mere fists to crossbows to magical attacks.
Asmodeus, Daedric prince of hatred and terror. (inb4 "But Asmodeus is about lust"...No, Asmodeus comes from Zoroastrian Aeshma, which symbolized (and meant) wrath). My plans would be to engulf Tamriel and all creatures in hatred and to plung all dimensions from oblivion to mundus into realm of terror. Daedric Appearance would be like that of mephisto from Diablo series: Decayed body with four arms and long skeletal tail instead of feet. Add to this bat wings and glowing red eyes. Face would ressemble that of Asmoday by artist smilingdemon (you should check his art, he has an adorable drawings of Goethic demons in general :^) ). Main element would be fire.
Plain of oblivion would be Hades, divided into three subregions: first would be Wastelands of Odium, large mountanous drylands, full of asps and scorpions, where most ruthless and Hateful people would be stuck to battle with eachother for ethernity. Second Subregion would be Dungeon of Metus, Dark prison build out of blood and bones. Here would lie those who used terror and fear in their own benefits and would be tormented by creatures, representing their victims. Last subregion would be Capitol of travancal (travancal was seat of mephisto and zakarum church in diablo world), where grand palace would be.
My minions would be Daevas. Tbh, they are not that different from Christian description of demons and Dremoras, that are based on them, so they would look pretty alike dremoras. Amongst them would be Daeva Valkynaz, Giant creatures that would somewhat look like mehrunes Dagon. Another set of my main minions would be Set, That would look like mummies from Diablo series (yes, I like diablo series), that in turn, look Ancient egyptian diety, set.
My first artifact would be "Bloody mace" (it was a symbol of Aeshma in Zoroastrianism). Hitting someone by it would cause him to go berserking everyone and everything. after several hits, It would absorb blood of the victim, putting him totally dry, while it would rejuvenate wielder of the mace. However, wielding mace for too long would make wielder to become more and more aggresive.
Another Artifact would be trident of Aeshma. it would be a staff, that when hitting an opponent, would incarnate his worst nightmares and fears into a a demonic creature, that would battle against him.
So, for "TL DR" people, typical christian description of demon.
I would be the Daedric Prince of Loss and my name would be 'Kallig'
Basically, my realm would be a large and infinite graveyard of dead worshippers, it would always be night and be very windy. Worshippers would be promised to 'reunite' with those they have lost, when they will just spend eternity looking for them in the realm.
I would take the form of either a wounded mercenary, or a nearing death old man. Maybe even a bird.
I have actually two ideas and I don't know which is better, so:
1. Suruan, Prince of death and despair
Appearance: Tall woman with long dark hair, dressed in black dress, with pale skin, looking like a skeleton wrapped in skin (bones sticking out etc.).
Sphere: Death, suicide, sorrow, insanity, despair, loss of a loved one.
Realm: The Land of Mist - huge area, completely covered in a thick fog, with dead trees and plants, with Suruan's castle in the middle of the area (dark, large building with only a little lighting).
Artifact: The Sword of Deathmatch - Absorbs 50 points of health, a 10% chance of killing target instantly.
Quest: Don't know yet, but it would probably include a huge moral dilemma for the player. (Or maybe choosing between two artifacts?)
2. Talvinna, Prince of cold and winter
Appearance: Erm, did you see Tilda Swinton in The Chronicles of Narnia?
Sphere: Winter, snow, cold, frost, ice
Realm: The Icy Wold - divided into two areas - first, the Wintertime - basically a winter paradise, beautiful, peaceful, winter landscape, with snowy trees, deer, foxes, etc. The second - Winterstorm - would be basically a wasteland, with icy surface, fast wind, frozen animals, endless snowstorm, ice wraiths and frost trolls everywhere. On the boundary between these areas there would be Talvinna's castle, made of ice.
Artifact: The Axe of Freezing - target either takes 30% of frost damage or is 10% weaker to frost damage for 60 seconds.
The Snowwarmth - amulet that gives you 90% resistance to frost
Quest: Frozen By the Fear - Player meets a follower of Talvinna (random encounter), who says that her sister Ingrid went to the Icy Wold (I have to think about the reason) without the Snowwarmth (which is necessary if you want to survive the realm - again, I have to think where would they get it). The player must go to the Wold and save Ingrid, who is stuck in the Winterstorm, almost frozen to death, unable to get to the castle, because of the trolls and ice wraiths. Player must help her get to the castle, help her with whatever she needed to do there and speak to Talvinna. She states she is not satisfied with Ingrid as she forgot to bring the Snowwarmth and needed some help, makes the player the new champion and rewards them with the axe, however, the amulet still belongs to Ingrid. Player can kill Ingrid and keep the amulet, but they must do it before they exit The Icy Wold, because after that Ingrid and her sister disappear.
Name + Sphere: Zecrosis, the daedric prince of necromancy, winter, snow and ice.
Appearance: A tall(ish), Breton dressed in the ESO wedding suit. Black hair (tousled bard style) and glowing, icy blue eyes. Stalhrim square earrings and the (usually red) jewel on the suit would be stalhrim.
Artifacts: Ireznia: An Altmer style bow of pure ice that will freeze enemies solid, and reanimate any corpse. Koreztag: A Khajiit style ebony helmet that grants a 100% frost resistance, and will make all frost trolls, ice wraiths, frost giants, frost atronachs and undead docile to the wearer.
Realm: The Frigid Isles. Inhabited mainly by ice wraiths, frost atronachs, frost trolls, frost giants, draugr, skeletons, zombies and various Daedra. Mainly snowy plains, frozen lakes, and frosty wastelands. In the Northernmost county lies Xycidian, the Akaviri style capital city.
Daedra
Name/Sphere: Atriarch, Daedric Mistress of Atronachs.
Appearance: Humanoid being made of pure Magicka (think of Potema's spirit form during the Dragonborn's first encounter with her).
Artifacts: The Limitless Helm, a crown made from cold flames and Ebony, wearing it allows the wearer to summon up to three Atronachs at once for One use per Day, and allows the ability to summon two Atronachs when dual-casting. The Potentia Guardian, a cuirass made from the same materials, wearing it strengthens all Atronachs around the wearer, be they friend or foe, while allowing the ability to absorb life-force from one's summons when they are critically injured. Gauntlets of Dominion, gauntlets that allow the wearer to project their will into the Atronachs summoned against them, turning the Atronach against its summoner by binding them to the wearer. Levitator's Desired Boots, boots that enable the wearer to float like some forms of Atronachs, risking no harm from heights and impacts.
Realm: Atriarch doesn't have a particular realm, being as free-roaming as the Atronachs she governs. Could technically be considered part of whatever realm she is summoned into.
Quest: The Atromancer's Bane: During a particular night of the year, when Masser and Secunda are eclipsed in the sky, in full view for all to see, there is a chance that attempting to summon any Atronach will instead summon Atriarch, who will be surprised by the event, but pleased to see someone actually summon something greater than just a normal Atronach... That's basically it. You spam the summon on that particular night and hope that you're lucky, and if you are, she gives you 1 of her 4 artifacts. After that, you cannot summon her again until the next time that night arrives. Once you've collected all 4 pieces, Atriarch will be pleased with your persistence and patience and teach you a spell to summon her. The spell only works 5 times, and when you summon her for the 5th time, she will take away the Artifacts she gave you, disappointed that you had to rely on her to fight your battles instead of taking the initiative and leading the army you could summon to victory.
I will probably become something like a Daedric Prince of Satisfying your Greed, (Like a generalist kind of greed.) My worshipers has to be people whose motives came from greed, are aware and accepts this aspect of themselves, whether it is greed for knowledge forbidden or not, material wealth, combat, magic or political power, as long as you acknowledge and work, when I say work, it is just a hypocritical way of beautifying the means since I have no limits to how low you want to stoop, how cheap or despicable to obtain your goals, in fact at my whims, I may even reward my worshipers for being a shameless and despicable scum just to obtain their goal. This only applies to my members vs non-worshipers. Plus I think way too little about honor and glory that is why I will encourage my worshipers to constantly stay in the shadows or have an alias to use in public.
As the Daedric Prince of Satisfying Greed, there will be an hierarchy and organization in my Cult. Namely is members are not to deliberately try to bring harm to another member in any possible way without my permission. If members of my cult wants to kill each other, they have to receive my permission where they will pit their entire being against each other. The reward is obtaining everything the other party possess with exception of their souls which will go to me.
