I love this armor but the fact theres no heavy shield ruins it for me. So I have to use a nordic shield because thats the closest shield that goes with it. Any shield users out there that think we should get a update adding a heavy shield?

I meant AzuraKnight, but you're also a very prominent member of the Wiki who provides a lot of knowledge to the people.
Just get a different shield, what's the big deal? The perks for heavy armor don't apply to shields anyways.
they want their shield to match their armor so it wont look stupid.
because I like going shield&sword in heavy armor, dual wield is for light armor.
Heavy is for two hand, light is for sneak.
Lets be real here, nothing beats a perfectly smithed/enchanted warhammer for melee, and nothing beats a perfectly smithed/enchanted bow for anything more than 5 feet away.
Shields are for wall plaques, even on legendary.
Maus, I totally disagree, plus that is not even on topic.
A perfectly smithed/enchanted !sword! does only 100 damage less than a perfectly enchanted/smithed warhammer. Both do damages in the 1000-2000 range. A sword attacks nearly 60% faster... Calculations for DPS show that when perfectly smithed, Warhammers are the worse in the DPS department (Warhammers are only useful when UNSMITHED, since upgrades are not via percentages but linear across all weapons, meaning faster attacks = more DPS gained from each point of smithing). In fact, I wouldn't touch a warhammer when we have greatswords that are pulling only 10 damage less, but swing 25% faster.
Being even more real here, Heavy armor is good for many classes. We have Battlemages/Spellswords, 2 handed knights, Sword and boarders, dual wielders and even pure mages using heavy armor. It's the perks that are really good, especially tower of strength (50% less stagger) that benefits all classes. Also, with conditioning, no agility is sacrificed and you can sneak in it.
Light armor can provide the same protection as heavy, but is really good for 2 handers and dual wielders because of extra stamina regen. It's inferior otherwise.
As for why there is no Heavy Stalhrim shield, that is a mystery, although I am guessing Beth went like Meh, ther's no need for a heavy shield since shields don't affect the armor perks, lets just let the people use a light shield (Admittedly, the light shield still looks OK, you have to admit, when used with the heavy armor)

I never wanted this puppy thats following me everywhere, but I seem to be stuck with him now. Maybe I can find a shady restaurant looking for mystery meat.....
In any event Leet Puppy, in a completely seperate thread, yet again, you take what I said the wrong way and rip off some other BS ideas that you pass off as fact.
In MY response here I typed MY characters feelings about the problem, and what MY character goes by. Perfectly on topic; I'm glad it doesn't exist, It'd just be holding up my wall like all the other shields in game, as previously stated.
My character is a 2h wielding, heavy armor wearing, conjure and resto spell casting fighter, with perfect sneak and muffle on his boots....my giant, golden, hammer-wielding self can crouch and disappear in full view of enemies. He can also regen his own stamina perfectly, so much so that it never runs out, even on constant power attacks. I use this fact constantly when I'm overburdened to speed up my walks. You should try some high end health/stam regen chants on your torso if it's an issue for you; works like a charm, and you don't lose anything valuable chant wise to do it.
That warhammer I swing, The Longhammer, swings faster than a greatsword btw, and hits harder. It's in the 1h mace realm of speed, and, as you prudently stated, still wins on damage per swing over ANY sword save for the top three greatswords, which beat it by 4 points maximum and still swing slower (18 weight on TL beats any GS above it in damage per swing in Speed, your hometown of argument points!), which I just finished telling you all about in the last thread you tried to jump me in. In two difficulty settings, you're correct about warhammers, in every other, you're dead wrong. But to be that dismissive seems odd, like they personally hurt you or something. Just stick to ONE idea, either speed or damage, because you don't win both, or either in this case.
You don't like my playstyle, and thats your perrogative. You don't like my opinions, and that is too. These things I can deal with just fine. But to find me in another thread and post the same leetist, BS, 1h diatribe you've posted in others I'm in, that's just childish man. Get off that sack of mine you're sitting on, I have other things to do and need to be anywhere else that you're not.
the only thing i hated about skyrim is that there are not that MANY types of armor
if it was me i would have amde every armor with a heavy medium and light version and weapons with long and shor versions for example: short iron sword, long iron sword, iron clymore etc etc
