Without mods, there's not a sole in Skyrim who looks younger than 50, except the kids who could pass for 30.
i think that skyrim has different races and they age different? am i correct?
One moment, she had no idea the "assassins" had made it this far and didn't know they had been in whiterun, yet seconds later in the same conversation...
Minus the fact that she is killed after the quest.
She looks a lot younger than 40 years old but assuming she's that old, she would have been 14 during the great war. Furthermore, you can find her remainsat the Whiterun's Hall of the Dead if she she gets captured hinting that Kematu's guy execute her. Even assuming they said the truth and she did somehow betray her people at less than 14, I don't think a crime commited by a child can deserve the death penalty. Also, keep in mind that if she lies it doesn't necessarily means the Alik'r are telling the truth. They could just all be lying.
Man, its an icky situation in general. I had eventually reasoned to myself that Kematu's story was the most viable, especially because of a point that another poster has brought up:
The house of Tanneth is at war with the Aldmeri Dominion, as stated in 2 in-game books, so there is no reason for her to be persecuted for speaking out against the Dominion in a city held by a rebellion that is fighting the Dominion.
Regardless of who is right and who is wrong, though, even if Saadia did lie to us, I don't like the fact that we have to break her trust to turn her in.
"What? I have to run away and start all over again? Well... if you think that this is the only way, I trust you."
That's maybe the only thing she's said that we can know is true, and we used that against her. Doesn't make me feel good, even if she is a Dominion supporting Redguard traitor.
I'm with this person. Don't know what happened, don't care. On one hand I have a woman quietly making a living in a harsh land cooking/staying in the inn of the city I am Thane to. For whatever reason, she is jumpy. No biggie there. On the other hand, i have a group of mercs that show up, en force, getting kicked out of town, caught stealing in town, holed up with bandits... and what is more is that they start smearing blame without any shred of proof. Burden of proof is on the instigator in my town. Their story reeks of cover story and her's is no better, so they cancel eachother out and im left with some dudes trying to kidnap the cook in my town. Fighting words right there =D.
Wait, she's being accused for speaking against aldmeri dominion? I htought she said rival families want to kill her (or something like that with noble families?)
So if I understand, she said she spoke against the Aldmeri Dominion and she is on the run for this. So she decide to go in a place were she can be safe from them: Skyrim ... Skyrim really? Where people get kill by Thalmor for nothing? Safe?
I mean Hammerfell won against the Aldmeri, so why flee?? I dont know, maybe because you are lying.
On other, we got a bunch of armed dude, coming for her, getting kick out of the city (with one arrested), hanging out like bandit (come on guys, try to not like more dangerous). At first, not they dont to tell everything (they dont lie either) but when you fight for answer, they tell she sold a city.
Again, war won time to payback. Make sense to hunt a traitor.

Well, we don't know that. If a character is permanently out of the game, the developers make their urn appear. It could just be an oversight.
Saadia's Urn appears because she's officially categorized as a citizen of Whiterun, and she disappears from the game.
So yes, it can be written off as an oversight or gameplay condition. Not confirmation that she's been killed (yet; considering that she faces judgment from noble houses in Hammerfell).
