Boats are a mode of transportation in The Elder Scrolls: Arena. They can be encountered in Elden Grove and occasionally near bodies of water in the wilderness.

If you get to some water you wish to cross and there isn't a bridge nearby, look for boats. They are found right off the shore line, often hidden by rushes. Click on the boat and you can travel great distances without tiring as you would swimming. When you wish to leave the boat, press "J" and you'll anchor and jump from the boat. If you want it later, it'll be where you left it.[1]
