A Bone Hawk is a creature in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard. They bear a resemblance to regular hawks, but with a black hue and an exposed skull.
Location[]
They are typically found circling Castle Volkihar. They can be brought down with arrows, ranged magic, and, like normal hawks, by being hit with the Shout Kyne's Peace.
Loot[]

These items are used to craft a Bone Hawk Amulet.
Bugs[]
This section contains bugs related to Bone Hawk. Before adding a bug to this list, consider the following:
|
- 360 Arrows shot close to them that miss don't fall to the ground. Instead, they trail the hawk as it flies around. This may be caused by shooting a bird, then shooting the bird that replaces it.
- PC 360 PS3 Bone Hawks may become invulnerable and no longer can be shot down. Bolts and arrows shot into them remain stuck, but the Bone Hawk does not die and fall to the ground for looting.
