For other uses, see Bonewalker.

Bonewalkers, also known as Zombies in Western provinces[1], are creatures in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. They are readily identified by the sharp protrusions of bone and metal that are employed by the rituals that bind them to Mundus.[1] Some of them have their jaws encrusted with three precious gems.[2]

Background[]

They are described by characters as follows:

"Bonewalkers are among the distinctive ancestral revenants that guard Dunmer burial sites, and which may be summoned as spirit guardians. Among the undead, they are less worrisome than their more powerful manifestation, the Greater Bonewalker."

Bonewalkers seem to be the charred, hulking corpses of Dunmer people.
