- For other uses, see Bretons.
Bretons are the human descendants of the Aldmeri-Nedic manmer of the Merethic Era and the main inhabitants of High Rock. They are united in language and culture but are divided politically. Although they are not as physically intimidating as the Nords, or the Orcs, they are skilled with magic due to their Elvish ancestry.

Common playstyle[]
Unlike the Altmer, Bretons possess more defensive capabilities in their spell repertoire. Gifted with being naturally resistant to all forms of offensive magic, the race makes for competent Battlemages. In battle, the Breton may cast summoned creatures to protect against physical blows while destruction spells are flung from afar. The Breton's boosts to Restoration and Alchemy allow for easier means for restoring health. Also keep some restore magika potions when it is running low.
